Prairie Artisan Bomb! Good trade extra?

yea, a bomb is always a welcomed extra.

 

Currently rated #71 with a 4.49 avg, even if you sent it to a place with good access to PAA it would always be a great extra. Most places get a case here or there but never enough to stockpile like you can here OK, AR, or TX

 

It's turning into a shelf turd in NorCal. But very few people would complain about a $10/bttl extra

 

People trade for those beers, so yes, it's an awesome extra. We get some in Iowa. I even saw it sitting on the shelf recently which is a 1st. It usually sells out in a few hours but it's a damned good beer. More is always welcome.

It's a matter of taste, but I prefer Bomb over Westy XII by a lot.

 

In some places (Virginia for example) its non-existant. Its a beer I've always wanted to try but have no access to, so I would be thrilled to get it as an extra.

 

I would kill to be able to stockpile Bomb! PAA barely hits shelves here in MA, and never Bomb.

 

If you don't treat it like a whale (& since you're asking about using it as an extra I don't think you will) Bomb is definitely trade worthy, especially if you're willing to go a bit over $4$. It's distro seems more wide than deep, ie.It's seen in a lot of markets, but the amounts available are often limited. Much like BCBS, there are often people who simply want more who are willing to trade to get it.

Someone recently brought a number of the variants to a tasting. They were stupid good.

 

Never traded or traded for it, but I DO love me some BOMB! We have it in distro here, but it rarely comes around and sells out by day's end. Sounds like a super extra, so you must end up having some pretty happy trade partners. Cheers to this BA!

And to answer your question...YES. It's an extra and extras are always appreciated! Solid locals and if possible a beer or two off their Wants list is classy move.

Yeah exactly, VA is not close to anywhere with it reguarly, I actually have traded for Bomb/Bomb variants, so all the locations without it would be very happy.

 

I got it as an extra and freaked out like one of those YouTube videos of a kid getting a new Playstation for Christmas. Okay, maybe not that bad, but I was thrilled. Definitely a great extra, especially for those who did get it in their distro.

 

Never had it so I would love to have it as an extra!

In a beer desert like Florida its a beer I want to trade for let alone as an extra.

 

I'm in Michigan but vacationed in Florida (Disney) last week and was actually surprised when I walked into a pretty small liquor store and they had AB Noir, Christmas Bomb and a bunch of other Prairie brews on the shelf.
