    AA Hint #1:

My target's username and my username share at least 1 (unique) character.

Shipping to someone whose username could theoretically be a scrabble hand

Yeah, regional inflation aside, $8 for an APA 22oz bomber is on the high side in the upper midwest. (other styles are much higher obviously) Not a ton of locals in that format, but Steel Toe packages their regular offerings in 22oz bombers and they are in the $4-5 range (which people still complain about because price/oz still higher than most 6 packs). Not to mention that Psudo was in the $6 range a year ago and has gone up 2-3 bucks. That combo'ed with the current situation of having to drive an hour to get it makes it not worth it to get too often for me. You can't really get growler fills unless you go to the brewery anymore either as they don't distribute many kegs presently to keep up with bottled demand.

All of this will change when the Brew Hub stuff starts hitting, I'm sure.

Alright locals, I'm sitting out the AA round, but I've had a good beer week. I won 2 LIFs in MLB 13, I won a box from the CF charity event, I made a trade with @whyteboy003 and my wife's cousin just dropped off a bunch of stuff from his trip to Vermont. So I feel the beer gods have smiled on me this week, (the traffic gods and the works gods have been a different story) however, I want to pay forward my beer karma.

    LIF TIME
Anyone who has participated in a Locals round (including the current round) or the Civil War is eligible. This is a simple one. I am the keeper of the MLB 13 spreadsheet, which means I need to enter the score of every baseball game (twice). The spreadsheet has 30+ sheets, one for each team and the score needs to be entered on both teams sheets. I do not enter the scores on the weekend. Since this is a three day weekend, I will need to update the spreadsheet on Tuesday to include all games from Friday through Monday (four days). Guess how many seconds it will take me to enter the scores. (If something comes up while I'm in the middle, I will stop the timer do what I need to do and then restart the timer when I get back to entering scores.) Deadline to enter is Monday at noon. I will enter the scores on Tuesday morning.

Asheville is one of first road trips I'm lining up after I'm on the ground in NC. Never been, and it seems like the beer mecca of the state.

Did the Confederacy have a Supreme Court, and if so, does that count?

In Chicagoland, $10-12 bombers are pretty average...:slight_frown:

It kind of is. The Triangle has the best distro in the state, Asheville has the best breweries by far. Let me know when you plan on making the trip as you'll have to drive about 10 minutes away from me
