I had Mexican Cake at Torst last year and honestly wasn't very impressed. I'll stay off this train.

 

NYC gets Westbrook (limited) but it seems like Cake came and went through here like a ghost.

 

I honestly do not really like the spiced stouts, but both the bottles I got were gifts. I will drink one, toast both parties, and someone in this thread will get the other bottle, one way or another...

 

I will try to get cake, but it's extremely hit or miss... have to basically chase trucks.


Also, I want first claims to BA SSU (if the rumors are true)

Last night a place near my office tweeted that they MIGHT be getting Cake in today. I called about an hour ago, no news yet -- they are hoping to get one case and will have a one bottle limit.

 

Ive never had any of the cakes, sitting on a couple 4th anniversarys and a AB SBP so it would look nice next to them!

 

Stop sitting on those 4th Annys, the coconut is already almost gone, I had mine a week ago and heavily regretted not having drank it sooner.

 

fwiw I had one a while back and the coconut wasn't very present either. I got a good amount more of Almond and chocolate.

 

It was just officially released on the 20th, you sure it came and went already? Alabama got it early, but that seems to be a case of a distributor not understanding what a 'Do Not Distribute Until' date is...

Yes, saw posts of stores getting it and it being gone. There are a few stores that haven't received it yet, but they'll probably get it over the weekend. I'm not in the city on the weekend. It's not for me (I'm actually not a big fan of the beer), but for someone else.

I've never had it - but just called again, and they said "we hope to get it today, but deliveries are nuts today. If we DON'T get it today, it will definitely be in Tuesday"

If it doesn't show up within the next 45 minutes or so, I'm giving up and hoping for Tuesday.
