@JohnBeerNow I did a tasting last year with idk 50 bruery bottles. And the only two that didn't get drank were Tumescence and blanco. Those and an infected nasty bottle of todwc&v

Yeah I have a bottle left from the last time it was released. I might just buy another two for the heck of it. I'm hoping the beer has gotten better. Maybe someone that's had it recently can chime in?

At this rate, Tumescence is literally going to sell out over 100x faster than Portuguese Brandy Sucre. Mind blown.

two 15 cubic footers, two seven cubic footers and a fridge that's for all practical purposes full of bottles as well... I have one drawer and a baby shelf I use to thaw stuff along with just enough space for OJ and a half gallon of milk. Otherwise it's all beer. I should probably cut back on the buying because I'm definitely buying more bottles than I'm drinking. Especially because I can't touch any of it for five more months due to being on the other side of the globe.

I ran across Tumescene last year at some liquor store in North Park and bought a bottle. It just wasn't a beer for me.

There's also a liquor store down the hill from me that still has a case of Saison Tonnellerie in their fridge and it's been like two years so that told me something about that beer.

I'm sure some people really like those beers and they'll sell out of them though or hopefully so they don't pop up or another archive sale. But as a 1st year I'm glad you guys post your thoughts because otherwise if I hadn't tried Tumescene I might have thought long and hard about buying a bottle.

If you have the money, everything is worth a try. Who knows, you might be that person that really enjoys it.

Roble Blanco was polarizing but I had no trouble drinking it.

I will open a bottle in a few weeks and give it a second chance.

Definitely agree with that. I've tried everything at least once and even if I don't end up liking it at least I'm not second guessing myself or shooting myself in the foot when everyone later says it the most amazing thing out there. In the end its all good and my palette gains some experience points.

Lol. And how can you make today's release worse? Tum for Societies. Great job, pass.

My prediction is next week will all be stouts. The one I know about hasn't shown up yet so maybe this is good that today wasn't great. We can all save some funds for next week.

Please let one of them be s.h.i.t. just because. Otherwise I can definitely use a restock of some of their weekday stouts. Surprisingly I am mostly out.

Someone popped open a bottle of Tumescence at a share I was at maybe 2-3 months ago. It was better now than it was fresh. I still don't feel the need to buy any today, but I find the thought of drinking this now much less offensive than it was initially.

(And Roble Blanco is a million times worse than this beer)

I only grabbed 1 of 6 of my Filmishmish for the month. Anyone want a package deal for the 5 remaining?

Hahaha, damn, of the current rating list here on BA Roble Blanco is easily the lowest. And I liked Roble Blanco way more than Tumescence.

    L'deracola is pretty low, too.
