Back from a couple days hiatus...

When would be good to meet up? Definitely buy you a beer and bring out a couple to share!
Cycle and Green Bench are absolutes (and easy walking distance (0.5 miles) from each other). Green Bench usually has some great bottles too. Rapp is a really good homebrewer gone mad! Great beers. Cigar City is hit or miss with awesome beers these days but a must due to name. Angry Chair is one of the over-looked gems of breweries and not five minutes from CCB. GREAT stouts and some nice sours occasionally too. Coppertail in Ybor (8 min from CCB) also has some really good sours and hoppy brews. There are eight or ten others but that is a good starting point. Feel free to call or message me for any other details or specifics you are looking for. Hmmm, interesting. Any chance you are privy to where this info comes from. This brewery is uber into the local scene and I would be very surprised if they said anything negative about St Pete. Could potentially be very negative for the scene they are building for themselves. Their biggest problem is that they are just far enough of a drive away from Tampa/Sarasota/Any-where-else-in-tampa-bay to be a pain to drive to and in what is gettting to be a some-what over crowded market (Florida is getting borderline Illinois distribution these days!). Where have Green Bench beers been seen? People are flocking to Green Bench and every time I have been there they have a relatively full tap room. Interesting news...

Sounds good dude! My birthday is in August but I have a Chicago trip, and a Nova Scotia trip around then so I am kind of stretched out. Might be able to pull the "It's my Birthday" card with my wife though! One of my best buds just bought a house down there so maybe I could use that too. Either way I will shoot you my email to be added to the email list if you are cool with that.

Jacksonville has some great breweries. Don't miss Aardwolf! I have tried some really good BA offerings from Engine 15 too.

It sounds like his bottles are now showing up in Colorado and I bet it will show up in San Francisco in a couple other cities soon
