I'm just getting caught up after spending most of today kissing up to the misses for putting up with my beer shares over the past couple days.

The Locals share was a great time yesterday. Started off at Killens for some awesome BBQ. This was the first time I had been there and it definitely lived up to the hype. It was the best brisket I think I have ever had and even better were the wagyu burnt ends. My wife's spare ribs were not very impressive but that is what you get for ordering pork in Texas. Beef is king.

After stuffing ourselves at Killens we headed up to Hay Merchant for the share where we met up with other Houston folks. It's a bar so the lighting didn't make for very good picture taking, not to mention our hands were full of beer. Here are a few pics that I managed to capture, please excuse the sucky quality of them:

@Ncpogs took quite the liking to our southern women down here. He even obtained the digits of the one on the right in the black dress. I understand that she gives a great massage.


@Louis121 and @Ncpogs even got to experience one of our torrential downpours. Fortunately the flooding was very minimal and all were able to make it home.

I had an awesome time and it was great to finally meet some of the other Houston people. I have seen them around at various events but had no idea who they were. Now I can finally put a name with the face.

I assume if all the extra so-called "Northern swill" was ceremoniously dumped, out of defiance, there would have been video of that too, so I assume there was lots passed around at the end?

Just a small share some friends and I had yesterday...

And a request out there to the peeps. I'm putting together a Firestone Walker tasting for our bottle share group (we just came up with a logo and are getting glasses... thanks to the Locals Share for putting that in my head) for August. I have the beers below (or they're on the way), mostly from the generosity of @PG2G and @Clarkson. Anything else I should be looking for? Sadly, we have no FW distro here (which is why I'm putting this together since most of the people have only had maybe 1 or 2 of the below; hell, I've only had 1 or 2 of the below).
