Another month, another thread. It's worked well in the past so here we go again. Let's try and make this one stop shopping for all things Trillium. Please use this thread to post the bottles available along with costs, sizes, limits, and so forth.

Did anyone stop by today? I swear I saw regular Fort Point under the bottles section around noon, and then it disappeared. Curious if they were able to bottle it or just a mistake when updating the site. Also, any news on when we might see Artaic again? I was out of town for the first release...

@JCTetreault posted this yesterday on Artaic: Roughly 1.5wks for the 2nd batch of Artaic

@JCTetreault Heading out Thursday. What are the odds of bottles of Galaxy FPPA & Congress still being available?

I was there yesterday at opening, they had the Galaxy FPPA but not regular, Congress, Sunshower Saison, and Trillium for bottles

Thursday...kind of depends what time, but if I had to guess probably will be good for Galaxy FPPA, but maybe not Congress St. slower yesterday and prob today b/c of the rain.

If you get there 20 minutes before opening on a cold rainy day like I did yesterday, wear sleeves, the short sleeved shirt was a huge mistake haha

Planning on visiting at the end of the month and I had a couple questions. If I go on a Friday should I plan on getting there before open? Can my kids get in line with us or will my wife and I have to go thru line separately? Any recommendations to grab lunch in the area with a good tap list? Thanks in advance for all the help!

Unless there's a new release you should have no problem breezing thru there, especially for bottles. Not sure about the kids thing, but Row 34 right next door has an amazing tap list

Friday from noon-1:30 or so tends to be fairly busy (maybe 30 min wait for growlers, but much shorter for bottles). Arriving before opening might get you to the front of the line, but the total wait time probably doesn't change all that much, and you are not likely to miss out on something by showing up a bit later.

Bringing your kids in line is not a problem, I see it all the time, but maybe not ideal? The space itself is very small and the line typically involves standing outside for a little while. If it was me, with my (very little) kids, I would possibly let them hang out with one parent somewhere like the Children's Museum down the street or a nearby restaurant like Flour Bakery (albeit no beer there) while the other parent picks up the beer. Since there is no tasting, you don't both need to go unless you are planning to both max out your limits.

Row 34 is the place to go for beers in the area, and the food is good, but will depend on how much you and your kids enjoy seafood. Pastoral is a solid pizza place down the street that may have a more kid friendly menu and generally has some decent beer, but nothing compared to Row 34.

Don't think having your kids will be an issue, it's a tiny little place though.

As mentioned above, Row 34 is the obvious lunch choice but it may not be kid friendly. Pastoral (fancy pizza) doesn't have a great tap list but might be more to their tastes.

Is there another restaurant/bar in Fort Point that carries Trillium?

Hoping to the high heavens I'll be able to stop by for a few bottles tomorrow! My time is very limited with a overnight work trip. But hope I can make it there!

Trillium does not seem to be distributing to bars and restaurants these days and even Row 34 has not had it listed any of the times I have checked (which is probably once a week). There were times when Trillium was occasionally found on tap at Pastoral, Blue Dragon, and the Fort Point Residence Inn, I believe, but not in the past year.

Can someone explain the need for an entirely new thread every month (also applies to Tree House).

There is good information in those old threads, and the same questions are bound to arise.

Is there a reason for starting a new thread other than wanting to be the first to do it?

I would not recommend ever going to Pastoral.

The BA Moderators usually lock down the previous month's posts for specific breweries, so we now proactively create new brewery-specific threads each month since we ended up having to do that anyway.

I could be wrong, please correct me if so, but I believe this was something put in place by the mods as these types of threads were getting too large and it was a way to streamline them by placing a monthly cap on them.

IMO, it's a good way to do it. Things are very fluid at these breweries so sorting through a monthly thread is a lot easier than one that carries on forever. Plus, those other monthly threads don't get deleted just locked. So if you're looking for something you should be able to find it even if it takes a bit of time.

I was really surprised to see the negative reaction to Pastoral here in a recent thread. The beer list leaves a lot to be desired (though they occasionally have Wookey Jack, which is a great beer when fresh), but the pizza is excellent. I am a huge Picco fan and still prefer it over Pastoral, but based purely on food I think its pretty close (Picco's tap list makes it a no-contest).
