Shortly after this year's hop harvest. So, around late September.

We have a guy that is supplying us with a decent amount of hops. Aside from that, we use several hop suppliers that most everyone else uses as well.

We're expecting to put it on tap the 3rd week of September. We are also going to try to make 2 batches this year, if time allows. That being said, a very limited number of kegs will go out and keep the rest for the brewery. In addition, we are planning on participating in the Fresh Hop Fest again.

It's looking like Q4 this year. We'll try to brew it once a quarter next year.

Im embarrassed to ask this as I'm gonna sound like a real noob here (which I am) but where can I get tickets to the Fresh Hop Fest? Is it too late? When is it?

I don't think they're on sale, yet. You mean the one at Falling Rock, right?

Yes, I believe that is the one. Thanks for the heads up, I need to be more on top of it or I'm gonna miss some big time beers!

Has anyone tried the new session IPA "Introvert" from Left Hand? Picked up a sixer and there are copious floaties on each bottle. I mean a lot of floaties. Is this normal?

Yikes. How does it smell/taste? For science of course.

I had a bottle earlier this week and it was like swamp water. I figured it was abnormal, but drank it anyways, not sure if it helped or hindered the flavor, but I didn't like it in any regard.

I wonder if LH did that on purpose or if it's a bad batch? They're usually very, very consistent, so I'd hate to think it wasn't intentional. We don't need another brewery going the way of Breckenridge.

I tried Lefthand Introvert and thought it was fine for a session. Didn't notice the floaties, but Sucks used to have floaties as well and that beer was just fine.

I'll probably get boo'd by some for mentioning this, but Trinity's 45th parallel IPA is actually very good. I believe Mr. Yester modeled it after the Oregon IPAs of Boneyard, Barley Browns, Breakside, etc.

They also recently bottled it and releasing at end of month/early July.

I literally poured mine through a strainer after a couple of sips as it was THICK. I've had plenty of brews with floaties, but this was too much.

Yester knows what he's doing and I generally like their beers a lot. I think it's just his persona (and their prices) that gets people riled up.

Just went to upslope this weekend and had their citrus pale. Maybe not an IPA, but coulda fooled me. Not a big fan of their regular lineup, but damn that beer was phenomenal. They had a pretty awesome coffee brown on too. @Mike1512 Imbibe Denver put on the fresh hop fest last year, so I'd check out their page or join there mailing list if you want to make sure to catch it.

For the not-beer-geek-but-more-so-than-the-average-consumer, the prices could be overcome. But the labels are horrendous as far as marketing goes. They may look cool, with nice art work...but on a shelf they are just confusing. Throw in higher prices and the beers tend to sit.

Yeah, I've honestly never purchased any of their beers due to them being ugly as hell and that I've not heard anything great about them in the past. I may have to change that.

Trinity could be brewing the nectar of the gods for the cheapest prices around and I still wouldn't buy any. Whether it's a real persona or playing heel, I won't support a business who does that stuff
