Not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet but Molson in i want to say at least a liter bottle that was 10.1% abv. Saw it in a deli in Montreal and said i have to try this. Worst liquid anything i've ever tasted.

I've had two beers that really shocked me with how bad they were, and both of them were Scotch Ales that have a link to my personal heritage. The first was La Ruée vers Gould, named for a village where my mother spent her summers as a child, and the second was La Mcleod, which is (almost) her maiden name. Both were watery, flavorless and gross (the latter has an average rating of 2.0 on BA, and the former hasn't been rated). Guess I'll have to brew my own wee heavy if I want to do the family legacy justice! Too bad my mom probably wouldn't enjoy the resulting beer...

I don't know if it's the worst beer I've had, but I recently tried the Santo Ron Diego from Lost Abbey...terrible. I don't understand how they can charge so much - upwards of $18 - when it's HORRIBLE!

I usually like Lost Abbey, but this was a major miss for me.

Green Flash Cellar 3 Imperial Stout...it seems everyone I know in almost every part of the country got the diacetyl infected bottles. They should put their next one out free.

I lived in Sydney from 2012-2014, and although I thought NT Draught was pretty terrible when I was hanging out in the middle of nowhere, I'd have to go with Toohey's New as that country's worst...and pretty easily, too.

A limited run organic Hefeweizen on tap at Front Street Brewery in Wilmington a few years back. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it literally tasted like fermented twigs and leaves- no spice, no citrus... no real flavors at all (other than leaf and twig).

It was really surprising, as Front Street is definitely capable of making a good Hefeweizen.

A year-old (Or more? No date. Before the release date though so definitely not fresh) Pumking, aged in the sunlight in some cruddy downtown city shop. Had one sip -- swallowed before even realizing anything could be so horrible. Spit out the second sip. Immediate drain pour. The entire next day my mouth tasted like fake spice -- that was actually on my tongue, not a gag reflex.

Not kidding, that was literally the most horrible thing I've tasted in my entire life!
