DFW and Houston people are bad enough. Now we have New Mexico folk?

Come on now, Us New Mexico folk are decent people haha. I hate to be grouped into a category of people assimilated with DFW

Don't worry about the flak. As a recent transplant to Austin, I've heard too many times, "Welcome to Austin, please don't stay." I think Austin should be more selective on that account. Welcome to Austin, please don't stay if you're a bunghole.

That's my vote at least. Again, as a recent transplant, I welcome the visitors and immigrants (but not from DFW or Houston).

It's well understood that the Southwest forums are much like the Southwest in real life: Texans will overrun the rest of it and treat it like their personal playground and they're not very good at sharing. :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks like the limit was dropped down to 2pp. I'm also a little bummed there's no Foudre left in bottles.

Preferably, the next time someone is bored at Jester King, they stick with pictures of fruit fermenting or pictures of their beautiful brewery and not teasing upcoming releases. I like being surprised by the release. It's like receiving a present you weren't expecting.

Yep. N. Mexico, Arizona, should be part of the Mountain forum.
    We can handle Oklahoma.
Colorado should just be their own forum... call it Fucking Stoned Colorado.

Nah, New Mexico should just be part of both forums.

That makes two of us and I live in DFW.

Austin used to be better before the neck beard hipster .com losers ruined it :stuck_out_tongue:

Just wanted to follow up on my trip out to JK this past Saturday. Took a friend of mine who hadn't yet been to JK. We arrived about 11:50am. There was absolutely no line. We got our bottles around 12:01pm and then enjoyed the rest of a great afternoon at JK.

There was never a line at the bottles to go tent and only a short line outside to get a pour. I like the fact JK is now offering bottles for consumption onsite (with no wait to purchase). The 1:00PM brewery tour was really well done (as always). I miss the JK stems but I don't mind the new glassware. Although I really liked Nocturn, Foudre stole the show. Easily a top-3 beer I've had from JK, including their fruited sours.

I suspect there will be more Nocturn left for next weekend.

Sweet, if there is some left next week I'll definitely be there. Pending Houston doesn't get destroyed by this Hurricane.

Hurricane? More a not so strong tropical depression. But, it will cause just rain and flooding.

Sounds like a perfect time for JK to release another fruited sour.
