J Henry's is a new gastropub on the north side of Clear Lake. They have 49 beers on tap, 2 wines and a pretty great bottle selection. A great feature is the focus on Growlers, there is a drive thru for Growlers with a series of discounts depending on size and if you are filling at happy hour, as well as a loyalty card with boasts cash back and a discount of its own.

Tap details will be posted on the facebook page but the gist is, starts up at 11am and goes to midnight. Swing by to check it out and have a good time.

Here is the first facebook post about Tomorrows offerings
First round of beer announcements: Real Ale Mysterium Verum Highlander, Lone Pint Yellow Rose, St. Arnold White Noise, Freetail Hopothesis, Founders Imperial Stout, Clown Shoes Mango, bottles of: BB8, BB9, BB10 and Dogfish Head 120!!! More to come tomorrow in addition to gift card giveaways. All available Saturday for our Grand Opening Celebration!

Curious, how many people would buy growlers from a drive thru window? I suppose I might, if I knew the list ahead of time, or if they handed me a list. I think I'd be inclined to just walk inside though.

if they have a tap list like taps and caps that is live and online, I would happily get fills in a drive through.

Even better, for crowlers, order online ahead of time, then drive through or curbside service! @lonestarbev something to think about  I have no clue on the legality, if you don't pay ahead though it might be legal...and curbside service really doesn't matter, I'm not that lazy, but if you could order ahead and then just come in and pick up, would help when I order 18 crowlers hahahaha.

I went for dinner last night, not knowing it was the grand opening. It was ok. I was impressed by the tap and bottle list, and the food wasn't bad. Definitely somewhere I'll try again, although with Nobi five minutes from home and this more like twenty, I don't know if it'll be a regular haunt.

I didn't check the facebook before hand, and I was surprised after being there for about 15 minutes to see rounds of Bishops Barrel and 120 going out. When I asked our server about it, he had no idea, and had to ask another server about the price and if they were still available. Kind of struck me as odd. If you're selling special bottles I feel like you would want your staff and guests to be aware they are an option. Maybe that's just me being grumpy after a long day at work, though.

I feel ya man, the key to having well educated staff is educating them, which takes some time unless you want them drunk all the time . Give them some time and it'll be much better.
