Looks former PS members have heard from The Bruery

What the hell is the Bruery doing right now.

I'm guessing they need to push the window up for cash flow reasons relating to the Terreux tasting room, but current RS and HS should've been the first to know, not the last. This is really annoying.

I am honestly surprised that The Bruery didn't contact us first about it... but that's the thing about communication. It is very possible that the person that was supposed to draft and send out the email simply didn't do it, that's what happens when you have humans do things instead of robots.

I mean will they even have a society calender ready for 2016 with this renewal email coming out.

What if one of the mystery beers is actually a mystery beer in each indvidual bottle. Kinda like Airheads candie's white mystery version. It was always strawberry but this could answer the bruery's smoking wood large supply problem.

    I kid I kid

Opened a bottle of Melange #12 today. My first tasting of the beer without the anniversary festival spices. I'm glad a maxed out. This is the kind of beer that put The Bruery on my radar and got me to join the RS. This one impressed me.

So, I've seen a couple posts on various social media from PS members saying that they have received invites for RS... yet we don't have any emails. This is getting interesting.

I'm in PS and haven't received an invite. This is news to me.

PS doesn't need an invite to get into RS. After the RS renewal window closes, assuming there are spots available, PS members get the chance to join. They're probably just referring to the email that went out saying that if you're signed up for the next quarter you'll get the chance to join RS in that window.

I can't find that email (if I got it), but did it state a date you'd be able to sign up?

Jul 13 - Aug 30 for existing, Aug 31 - Sep 11 for PS, Sep 14 until ? for everyone else...but once again none of this is "official". I'm going down there today so I'll ask.

@ivegot3Dvision - if your not busy, come grab a beer around 430.

I could really go for a beer list and included beer info... Hopefully it's more black tuesday treatments...

I'm sure they will have a good idea for their roadmap.

In all honesty, does it matter? Does the release calendar actually influence many peoples decision to not renew? For me anyway, there are a few on the list that I'm "meh" on, but for the most part I enjoy the niche The Bruery has. I trust them to make solid beers, both old favorites and new. Will all of them be homeruns? No of course not. Will there be homeruns for sure and maybe even a grand slam or two. If they put out their list what would it actually take for someone not to renew based on the items on that list?

No I don't think the set calendar will have that much effect on the members if they're going to renew or not. I think their experiences with the society will dictate that. I'm just surprise they shooting this out so early with Turrex being so young and all the moving parts they have going on. I've been pretty happy with the releases so far and scared for my wallet for this 2nd half of the year. Alot of beers on that list they haven't released yet. I would assume they'll have the beer allocations you get for your society purchase.

I'm not thrilled about the renewal dates being moved up, but I'm not up in arms about it. Helps that I only have to fork out money for half an RS membership. If I was having to cough up dues for a solo HS membership a couple months earlier than planned I would be a little more frustrated.

There was a sentance in there about "... and new variations of popular beers such as Black Tuesday and ..."

    News like that excites me!

Did anyone else detect a substantial amount of diacetyl in Hottenroth w/ peaches? For me, it had a slick and oily mouthfeel and was almost undrinkable.

There's at-length discussion of this in the thread, just drop back through the past 3-5 pages.

Opened a bottle couple days ago and was a complete drain pour for me. I couldn't even finish the glass. The Diacetyl was so overwhelming. I emailed them twice haven't heard back. Probably going to call them today at some point.
