    Reviews:

This was really tasty. Good head retention and lacing down the glass, plenty of carbonation. Aromas and flavors of caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, plum, pear, and apple; with moderate herbal/grassy/peppery hops and yeast earthiness. Light earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; good overall robustness and balance between malt, hop, and fruity yeast flavors; smooth and crisp finish with light creaminess in the mouthfeel. A really solid example of an English pale ale, and definitely enjoyable.

Another NBS BIF beer. Really great stuff! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, and pine; with moderate malt sweetness of honey, caramel, and toasted bread. Nice sized pine/citrus rind bitter finish; with a very sticky finish with lingering hop oil resins for a while, that never become cloying either. Fair amount of slickness in the mouthfeel as well. Nearly full bodied; with great bitter/sweet balance of flavors; warming but not boozy on the finish. This is pretty darn similar to Devil Dancer in my opinion; still tastes pretty fresh too. Excellent!

Great saison as expected. Aromas and flavors of big tart lemon, lime, papaya, apricot, mango, pineapple, green apple, wheat, rye bread, peppercorn, and light honey; with some herbal/earthy yeast complexity and light funk. Nice balanced tart/spicy finish; with balanced bready pale malt sweetness. All around great complexity of tart fruit and spicy yeast flavors. No complaints.

Starting the evening with a Victory Summer Love ale. Lovely evening hardly any humidity, which is rare for this time of the year. Watching Making of the Mob: New York on AMC

I like this fresh almost as much as Sucks fresh, blasphemy, yes, I know![IMG]

I wore my Yes shirt to work today to honor the late, great, Chris Squire. The rock n roll hall can suck it for not inducting Yes earlier......[IMG]

I'm so glad I got to see them last year. Squire really killed it on this song!
