Pipework's out of Chicago does honey in beers better than anyone else. Especially the Drug Fish series. Every one of those beers has honey and is perfectly executed

Not so much a honey beer, but the Engelszell Trappist beers from Austria do use the local honey in them for some extra sweetness. It comes though, though very mild at best. I tasted it more in the Gregorius than the Benno.

Back in my noob days I used to enjoy Young's Waggle Dance, a pale ale brewed with honey. Don't know what I would think of it if I had some today.

    2 in NJ:

Flounder's Hill Street Honey Ale is a straightforward amber/pale with distinct honey notes
    and
Flying Fish Exit 3, a blueberry braggot where the honey is there and the blueberries are in the background.

I know this is BA and all, but for honey, I go mead. Dansk Mjød Vikingernes Mjød is my favorite so far.

In general, I love honey as an additive to beer. Big Sky Summer Honey has been my favorite.

Unless you're like me and add in far too much fermentables in your batch so you wind up with an 18% braggot, a bunch of drunk, dead, and overtaxed yeast, and a bunch of sugar still left in the brew <_<
