Alright @HoppySeb - I've got a friend coming into town from Seattle - he's not a beer guy, but I figured I should ask him to bring me something. Here's the short list I came up with from the Seattle area, but are there others that get Seattle distribution which I should have him keep an eye out for?

Elysian - Dayglow IPA
Black Raven - Trickster IPA, Wisdom Seeker IPA, Grandfather Raven Imperial Stout (and Great Grandfather)
Fremont - Brother IPA, Sister IPA, Dark Star Oatmeal Stout (and variants)

 

Elysian doesn't make it up to you? We get it here, I can always do a #pickitupformebro for you. So I would go with the other more difficult ones to find.

Edit: Grandfather Raven was delicious.

In short...
Elysian Dayglow shouldn't be hard to find, I think they recently put out a batch but it does rotate.
Black Raven - Trickster is no issue, WS might not be around right now (haven't seen it) but it frequently rotates. GF raven is brewed in Winter and I think it sold out everywhere (last place I saw it was Pear Market in March). GGF Raven was released two weeks ago but sold out in 2 hours or less. (I didn't even get any as I was travelling).

Fremont: All of those you should be able to get. Variants won't be out until November, unfortunately and they sell out within a few weeks.

Cascade, De Garde (some), and generally brews from CA/OR are available here - keep an eye out for FW Sucaba, Stickee if you like those. Crux has been doing some awesome barrel stuff, if he finds Tough Love I would definitely get one.

What a pleasant surprise - I thought they would be delivered today and I guess I forgot to check the tracking numbers yesterday. Tyranena is a solid brewery that happens to be across the street from my office. Good to hear that you've never had any of their stuff - that will change over the next couple weeks. Enjoy!

Target you should be getting a box tomorrow and two more Thursday. Be careful with tomorrow's shipment. It is the 12 days box but when you lift the top of the 12 shipper you may take the top half of the Little Caesars bag off revealing the contents and we wouldn't want that now would we...

 

It might just be a 'tick', but I really liked Fremont Summer Ale too. They're doing some pretty awesome stuff.

Thanks for the insight, @HoppySeb & @LehighAce06. I'm still waiting to hear back from my friend - I am starting to think he's either avoiding me or is actually flying out today, in which case it's a moot point.

@Syracuse12 - I think I saw Elysian at one of the Craft Beer Cellars - but that was only a couple cases of Space Dust, and at 1 bottle per customer still only lasted a couple hours.

 

Wow, I forget where I was recently, but they literally had cases on the floor. It could have been Space Dust as opposed to Dayglow, but like Seb said, they rotate. I've definitely seen both before, and I've never seen a limit on elysian stuff before.

They don't distribute to MA, so I have a feeling it was a favor from the distributor that got a few cases up here. With the ABinBev purchase I'm sure they'll start distributing up here soon.
