If you insist... since it seems a lot of numbers are taken, the first of the following three that aren't taken (if they somehow all are let me know and I'll put up more numbers):

Honestly trying to drink down my cellar atm, and get rid of beer and I have 4 boxes incoming from trades and two BIF rounds. So yeah Ill give a guess of 1 million miles, that way I know I can't win any more beer.

I'll speak for myself but possible others as well.

Maybe people have too much beer currently and don't want/need anymore. Maybe someone doesn't want to win and then have to pay it forward as there is a seemingly unwritten rule of win one:host one. Maybe some in here were turned off by some of your actions during the recent SWTFYW v LOCALS war (which is ongoing), maybe they don't like how you stole and sold beer from people that were generous to you in the past. Or maybe they just don't want to. I've never seen a list of people tagged that didn't enter a LIF.

Hopefully this doesn't come across as too harsh, but you asked for reasons why someone might not have entered.

EDIT: I shouldn't have used war, skirmish is more appropriate and hopefully non-offending.

I also will sit out LIFs if I am trading partners with someone in the Host's area, have had said beers, etc..

Also I assume i am going to win all LIFs i enter, then am dealt a crushing blow when it doesnt happen.. so i sit some out

Yeah, I thought that's what was happening. I may not have that crowler for him, but I will have something.

 

I had put in a request to Fedex to deliver Friday morning when I'll be there since its Signature Required. The form said they'd contact me for a date to deliver... which they did at 5:30 this morning. Thanks Fedex! Who the hell calls at that time of day? Granted they were calling from ET and I'm in CT, but still, who calls at 6:30am?

 

Oy vey. That's like when they gave my recent box to @jshucs the "business closed" exception, at fucking 7 am.... of course it was closed 2 hours before business hours!!! (Actually 3+ since it was a law office...)

Because I don't feel like it? I've never been called out for not entering a BIF and have no idea why I am now. I have 500 bottles at home (okay, okay 498, but I have 17 more that I picked up last night waiting to enter the cellar) and have 8 in process trades/planned ninja boxes. I already don't enter about half the BIFs in our own thread, I don't need to go faffing about winning another box and putting another trade in my queue (as I agree that win a box = offer a box).

I'm a member of the Locals for the camaraderie. Calling out people for not entering your BIF (regardless of how well intentioned that calling out or the BIF is) is NOT my idea of camaraderie. Plus I don't feel the need to call dibs on every box I see.

 

Obviously not necessary. I was tempted to chip in $ myself since while it is almost certain to end poorly, I do love me some SSU. Plus, somebody has to show you people how real men handle crowlers...

I haven't entered a LIF in a while. Taking it easy on the trading for a few months due to a variety of things going on in my life.
