    yeah that's exactly my situation -- by far the biggest box I've ever sent, and after being dropped off at 7AM on Monday Fedex says it's about 30 miles away with no update in 2 days.

    no that's fine -- by the time I struggle with ounces x ABV divided by 54 I've already had too much...

    It was more the acronym I like better

    I've refreshed the tracking on it so many times today just waiting for it to popup in Georgia. :slight_frown:

    The box you sent me is stuck in Jersey and the box my 12 days sender sent has been "on truck for delivery" for 11 hours now.

    I'm so glad the 4 I sent out were all delivered by noon. Shwew!

    Not that its much better, but we always think of it as Ounces / 12 times ABV / 4.5. Basically just shows how many times larger than a 12 ounces pour it is and how many times stronger it is (or weaker....?)

    Yeah, there are apparently problems at the Memphis hub (or were the other day) -- it still doesn't make sense to me that the box never got on the truck...the latest update is still

    6/30/2015 - Tuesday
    7:14 am Arrived at FedEx location
    KEASBEY, NJ

    but I don't see an exception, so hopefully they just didn't scan.

    ABVxoz/60, right?

    edit: Just caught up; the "standard" definition I've always seen uses /60, that way
    • 1.5oz of 80pf liquor = 1
    • 12oz of 5% beer = 1
    • 6oz of 10% wine = 1
