In my house, we never have to stock up on ice cream. However, I will not let my wife know of this development, otherwise I'll have to share.

It's gonna be me. With the day I'm having, I am going to go home and open everything from Rick and drink it tonight.

@NJB145 I think I posted previously that's my intent, though I plan to try and guess the style at least and determine my score on it before I see what it is.

    Cmon Saturday!

@Clarkson I thought you could use some beer, and since my target already got some beaver, we'll...

I've met Rick actually. He said if you drink all the beer you're receiving tonight, you will literally die. Don't die Josh!

I just put aspirin in my pocket in case of heart attack, or explosion today. One inspection down, two more to go. Let Rick know that my back hurts too.

That could be interesting and might prevent you from using #properglassware if you know what I mean

Realized that I owe some more **** from last night...

Tired Hands - Hop Hands. Supposed to be Day #2, but due to growler leakage I had to refrigerate and drink immediately. Like I mentioned last night, certainly lost a decent amount of carbonation, but was still drinkable, and actually pretty flavorful too. Not sure what the Alstroms problem was with it (rated it a 64?) but I have a feeling they were just being a grumpy beer snob that day.

Also, stopped by the new Lord Hobo Brewing Co. on the way home (alright, I detoured 20 minutes) to taste their 4 initial offerings - all IPA's. They've got a MASSIVE facility so I'm sure they've got grand plans to ramp up and sell everywhere across the country. Give it a few years and I'm sure you'll be seeing these cans on your local shelves... that is, if things go according to plans. The beer is solid, not great, and probably not worth the premium can price yet ($3.50 - $4.25 ea) - not on par with Trillium / Tree House, but then again very few can match those hoppy gifts from the gods.

Somebody in this thread might be receiving some Lord Hobo cans today in a non-12days box...

They must have had a bad batch (not that I've ever seen one, but I can imagine that it might have happened early on) or maybe Jean wouldn't share his weed with them, I have no idea, but that is a fantastic fucking beer.

I think the Bros deduct serious points for turbid beers. I personally prefer unfiltered beers, I think they have a better mouthfeel and more flavor.

Oh I guess it was from their recent trip through town; I figured it was closer to when they opened.
This was my other thought; I know they tend to rate more like a judge would, and appearance a) means more than it does to most of us, and b) makes it really important to have clear beer, which they don't.

You're just lucky it went to Illinois, very close by... Imagine if it was headed for California...

Syracuse is right. They are harsh on cloudy/hazy beers. Not sure how it could be a 64 and they rated another one from them a 68.

Someone in Jersey needs to check their porch, or rather, what's left of it.
