I should pay more attention... I'm not very excited about it either way. I guess low expectations is better than a let down...

 

It's a very good beer imo if you like diet coke with lime beer.

The opposite also being true. If your not a diet coke with lime fan.... you get the gist.

BT/cinnamon/vanilla beans/cream cheese extract? Maybe not the extract but the cinnamonand vanilla bean should go well with BT and come close to a Cinnabon

 

Did anyone get their credit yet for the Mash & Grind 14 bottles?

 

Did this e-mail go to every Society member or just those that ordered this beer? I didn't receive this e-mail and I am trying to figure out if there might be a problem on my end as this is the second e-mail that I didn't receive in the past few months.

 

I got it, but I did order one beer for someone else.

Does anyone know if there was an archive sale on the 4th of July last year? We had Pi day which landed on a Saturday.

 

Them not recalling Hottenroth with peaches is nice since they found a way to work through it but that's another half case of beer I need to ship... it's a double edge sword

 

I may have missed this but what was wrong with the 2014 bottles of M&G? I haven't opened in in awhile but the ones I have have been fine.

 

It is back a ways...short story...2 batches, 1 batch was accidently used for fulfillment purposes and was bad. If you bought bottles and were given that batch you were sent an email about refunds, returning, etc... If no email, you had the fine batch.

 

That is not necessarily true. I had the bad batch but never received the email. Search this thread for mash and grind and you find all the details.

 

Good point, I did check my bottles after someone posted the email and noticed all were from the "ok batch". Somewhere it was mentioned "did not get an email since did not get a bottle from bad batch". I remembered that and accidently placed that as fact.

I'm not sure if it was credit for the bottle or this shipper, but I got an unsolicited $22 credited back to my credit card and mine weren't even the bad batch!

 

POG sour going on tomorrow, which makes me happy because I neglected it at FWIBF

 

Going on Saturday, not tomorrow. Bummer since I'm probably headed in tomorrow.
