I hope you have very limited experience with Weyerbacher then, I really like a lot of things they make! If my guess is right let me know and I'll put together a care package for you of some of their best stuff. (If I'm wrong then I guess that's just palette variance )

@UTvols05 My kids really enjoyed that growler of Red Hare Rootbeer, thanks again!

For Day #2 I have a mystery 32 oz. growler to tackle, will have to get to that later this evening, for now I'm drinking this nice Gose!

    Cheers!

I can't imagine it matters what kind of paint you mix with the beer or that it is very easy to drink beer via a wooden board. Maybe my palate isn't as refined as yours.

So glad to see the rootbeer being enjoyed. Very cool.

And if you haven't already seen what is in the growler, drink the first part of it blind and tell us what you taste!

Hope you enjoyed it looks like you have been doing some damage in the Northwest. I think this one had a bit of age on it too but I could be mistaken. Cheers!

Day 2 of 12 is under way.

A nice roasty stout from Lickinghole Creek. Enjoying this now and I have a feeling I'll like it even more as it warms. Thanks Drew - @SportsandJorts

I have had a lot their main stream stuff but it always tends to be boozy without much malt complexity. Have any recommendations?

Riserva certainly, if you can find it (I can). Heresy, Old Heathen, Insanity, and Blithering Idiot are all good especially with couple years' age (after the booze dies down). I actually haven't had it yet, but a lot of people like Tiny a lot too.

Well, I'm still recovering from yesterday...shouldn't have started with the Rye...but oh well! But I wanted you all to see the action!

Later on, I cracked this fantastic Piney West Coast DIPA...really enjoyed this extra!

Then of course the main event....This big boy kicked my ass. So sweet, but great flavors. Let's just say I'm really glad my wife didn't go into labor last night...I would have been useless.

And around 1 AM I decided to get day 2 started. It turned out to be Live Oak Hefeweizen (a want that I never got around to actually putting as a want). Man was this Hef delicious!!!! Thanks again Seth.

Day 2. Love the bottle. Does go with the trip, almost. In tents by 9 most nights, tool many bugs and tired from canoeing. We did tell lots of stories around dinner. First story we all had to tell about was "most memorable poop in the woods"... you can see how much fun we had!

never heard of this one, am glad you sent it to me. Camp Braggot, Ghost Stories. Lager brewed with honey with coconut, cacao nibs, tea, and oak chips. Very sweet, very interesting. I really like it. Could not pick out anything in the blind taste other than the honey and vanilla. Looked like a stout, but is really a braggot. Very nice, thanks @gjoker321.
