I wonder why RS gets 3 Chron 12 but only got 2 Chron 6....seems a bit off.

Ewe. Nothing about that even sounds good.

Sour rye with anniversary ale, dates, cinnamon and anise? lol

Hopefully it is better than Flanders Giant. Really not sure what that beer was even trying to do.

EDIT: 2 bottles included with membership... yay

Still no official word from the Bruery on HS/RS renewals. @mattolesh - should we expect to hear something on that this week or was the press release that TheFullPint ran incorrect about renewals opening next Monday?

i honestly hate dates and anise and i was part of the blending party for melange 11. When i tried it i was very pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was

Still no word about renewals, huh? Excited about Sans and ToD though, two of my favorites!

Looks like they were originally planning to release 4 beers for RS and then pulled one back. Or it was just a typo in the initial allocation email.

Noticed that after I got the second email with the change to say three new beers.

Discussing this exact same thing with a couple buddies. I just assumed they copy/pasted from the HS email and forgot to change the number.

Or they cut and pasted from HS and didn't change the number, as we got 4.

    Hi guys,

7/13 is still the planned start date for Reserve and Hoarders Society renewals. Physical mail and email notices should be hitting your mailboxes this week.

I apologize for any confusion regarding Cinnamonk. It was mistakenly listed under The Bruery's beers when the website was updated with the new 2015 list and that mistake wasn't caught until recently. The Cinnamonk concept has remained unchanged since it was shared internally last summer and will still be released under Bruery Terreux as originally intended.

    Cheers,
    Matt Olesh

We are going to see a lot of beer released over the final 5 months. I thought we'd see at least 4 this month. I wonder if our Mystery Beer #1 is So Happens it's Tuesday. I saw a lot of barrels labeled "SHIT" during the tasting in the barrel room.

I'm actually excited to get a refill of sans, one of my favorite Bruery Classics.

Last year during RS renewals, they accidentally had "Salted Caramel SHIT" where they meant to have one of the Mystery Beer slots. No idea if that will actually happen, but it was a sign that they intend to pursue SHIT in the future. I'd still like to see them nail a good BA stout in the 10 - 12% range, especially if they could do it as a year round beer.

How does it work with HS invites? Just curious. I'm sure they need to see how many HS members renew. So if you renew for RS you may get an email after the cut off for renewal offering to upgrade to HS?

Not a Hoarder, but my understanding is they send out all invites at once. To my knowledge, there had never been a second waive of invites for RS to upgrade.

I guess it could happen if a bunch of HS don't renew, but they are probably pretty good at predicting the renewal rate.

They go out at the same time. I guess they just plan on a certain percentage not renewing and offer those to RS people.
