Not everyone else, though. It's pretty clean/neutral for an old ale, hides the alcohol well, fruity sort of malt flavor. Solid beer, but I'm more interested to see how the bourbon barrel version is.

No the DR12 is not barrel aged, they are just doing a barrel aged version. (tap/draft only)

*Edit* - Misread... I thought you asked if DR12 was in a bourbon barrel...

I am just praying they bottle some of the barrel aged version.

Its ok. Different is the word I would use to describe it. Im more excited about trying it in 2 years than trying it again when it comes out this week.

Just got word that Specs Airport (Austin) just got 10 cases. Limit 1 6-pack per person. Don't know about any of the other Austin Specs yet.

Got some at Specs (DeZavala in SA) today. It's OK. I was hoping it'd be better. As greenspointexas said, maybe some age willl do it good. Seems a little over-carbed to me as well - as you can see in the pic.

Well, I'm drinking it right now and it's solid. It does have an aggressive carbonation. I'm looking forward to drinking this in winter.

Is any of this floating around Austin? I will be visiting Sunday and would really like to get some.

Yes. 6pks only for now, limit one per customer. They also seemed to have plenty of Boxers and Rye-on-Rye.

Specs Airport definitely got it in. I would call the Brodie and/or Arbor Walk locations and see if it dropped there yet. Not hitting Specs RR until early next week. Hamricks Market in Cedar Park has it, as does Sunrise MiniMart in N. Austin.

Hamrick's had it, but no longer. Good chance that Sunrise will be out too.

I called the guy at mini Mart and he claims he hasent gotten it yet. Any other suggestions of finding that or boxers revenge on a Sunday?
