Me, too. I put almost all the beer I drink at home in the freezer to get it as cold as possible, regardless of style.

I do it with no apology, either, because the entire beer-served-at-the-proper-temperature thing seems like the biggest hoax in all of craft beer. The second that beer comes out of the tap/bottle/can, it's heating up, so beer served at a proper temperature becomes way too warm within minutes of serving.

I'd rather start too cold than finish too warm. Sue me. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have drank several highly desirable brews and didn't post it to any forums or social media sites.

    *BANG* you're dead

Hell, yes ... in fact, I wish craft brewers would push down their ABVs into the 4s -- seems like 5.0-5.5 is the average "low" or "session" ABV.

If I didn't love big stouts, dubbels and quads so much, I'd say 10 times out of 10 I prefer two lower ABV brews to one big one. But big stouts, dubbels and quads are gooooooooood :grinning:

Only time I don't use a pint glass is when my brother @lonewolfcry provides the "proper" glassware.

Every time that I buy a nice four pack of trappist beer I tell myself that I am going to have one and save the rest. Then I drink all four, EVERY TIME!:flushed:

I wish I was that fortunate!!!
Heady is a Unicorn around here and after selling my soul for a 4 pack one slipped out of the holder and attempting to catch it with my foot i smashed it into a snow bank and punctured the can.. I did the only reasonable thing... Popped the top and shotgunned it in the parking lot. It was equal parts sad and glorious..

    1. I didn't know there was a stigma against straight sided pint glasses. I thought it was great for beer since it had the Stone logo, in fact I'm drinking a stout in a 14th Anniversary pint glass in my profile pic. Lol. In my defense I use tulip/wine glasses when drinking sours.

    2. One time I left 2 pints of Pliny in my car's trunk for at least 24 hours out of sheer laziness.

    3. When I'm at punk show I will drink macro beer rather than no beer, because I refuse to pit sober.

    4. I once drank a little too much and stole a pint glass from Angel City haha.

I drink super hoppy palate wreckers then I'll have a different style of beer after that. Most recently I had a Here Goes Nothing immediately after a Ruinten. I can't taste a difference in the second beer.

Also I don't own any glassware that isn't a standard pint glass.

    My Craft Beer Sins:

    1) I like cold beer. I know that warming = flavor, but I prefer my beer cold, especially stouts.
    2) On English Premier League match day, I drink almost ANY style out of an Irish pint glass.

Maybe we should take a look at the real sins of Beer Advocacy.

Here are a few that come mind:
    1. Thinking your beer selection, beer collection or beer knowledge somehow makes you better then others.
    2. Looking down on others who drink what you think is an inferior beer.
    3. Trying to rain on others parade, by suggesting the way they enjoy beer is somehow inappropriate or sacrilege.

Beer is meant to be enjoyed. Knowledge is meant to be shared.

Dirty, smudged or contaminated glassware. And a glass that is too warm or too cold.
