    @Cheesy_Hop_Pun_Number7842, damn! 2 hours for a 12oz BOMB!?

    That is surprisingly long. Sounds like you enjoyed it at least. Was surprised to see your post because I down a BOMB! in 30 minutes or less. Because I love 'em.

    If it's an IPA that is best served cold then I will drink it at my regular pace which varies.. 10-30 minutes.

    Style isn't as much of a factor compared to just wanting to enjoy the beer. If it's a nice brew then I like to take my time regardless of style.

    I just spent about 70 minutes on an 11.2oz Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Shake because I know I won't buy it again til maybe next release.

    I've sipped on nice bombers for 3 hours. I sipped my Dark Lord slowly. It's all about the quality of the beer for me. Not abv or style.

    The one exception was 3 Floyds/Mikkeller Black Flame. It was even sweeter and thicker than Dark Lord but with explosive hops to go with it. I drank the bomber alone so I definitely took my time

    The first time I had a bourbon county stout, back in 06. I think I nursed that for 3 hours plus. At 12 oz and what 9% back then? It was still the biggest boldest and most complex beer ever. Honestly the 06 was better than the current stuff, and I still stand by that one 100%.

    Know a guy who drank an entire pint of 3 Floyds Skull'ole and became so physically ill he had to go home and load up on antacids...so that's definitely a qualifier for "should be drank slowly" in my book

    It took my friend and I almost 30 mins each to drink a 12 oz bottle of de Molen Bommen & Granaten. 6 oz in a half hour is a damn long time.

    It took me a hockey game to drink a dark lord by myself, so about 2.5 to 3 hours.

    About 2.5-3 hours to get through Sierra Nevada Maple Stout. Very tasty but high on the sweetness and bourbon.

    I've been wondering if this was worth the investment... I love Bigfoot and wondered about the whisky barrel aged version. I might still try it but with your comment, I will probably start with it very cold as I suspect it will warm up considerably by the time I am done.

    Unless I'm distracted, usually no more than 30 minutes for a 12 oz. or an hour for a bomber on average. I think the absolute longest was for a beer I didn't like and was determined to get through it because it cost a lot... that was about 3 hours and I kept putting the bottle in the freezer to chill. It was Matt's Burning Rosids Imperial Cherrywood-smoked Saison and it was horrid. I can chug a Steel Reserve 24 oz. can in under 6 seconds, but there was no way I could get myself to chug that sh*t.
