    Gorgeous day today. Enjoyed the great outdoors all morning/aternoon, now I'm enjoying the great indoors with AC, a brew and a good book! This Rye DIPA from PW is not bad, the sweetness kind of overpowers the spice of the rye--which is what I like about rye IPAs. Happy gorgeous Sunday, all!

    Trying out an interesting new one from a Nashville brewery, Black Abbey.

    Using one of their glasses, but you can really since the black lettering doesn't show up with darker beers.

    yes. appears to be a baby/juvenile red-tailed. seems to be a pattern. 2 years ago, just after the 4th of July, a juvenile red-shouldered showed up on the same pole & nested in the same trees.

    The grill is fired up & the Korean Short ribs are about to go on, plus some hot dogs for my Ludites; more for me! Deschutes Pinedrops IPA up first, had a half a bottle I capped from last night, mixed that with fresh bottle & Bob's your uncle, I can't tell the difference!
