Gold spot is nice. Nothing mind blowing but all really solid beers. Defiently
Not the brewmasters first rodeo. I love the atmosphere of the taproom. Gus' breakfast porter is my favorite

I enjoy Baere. Nothing crazy, but their beers are solid. Their most popular beer is their Berliner Weiss which is enjoyable and they typically have multiple syrup additions which is both authentic and delicious. They might still have their wine barrel aged imperial stout which isn't super barrel heavy, but a great base imperial stout. It's a nice space and friendly staff and Trve is always only about 100 feet away...

I completely agree with the above statement. Nothing made me feel like I wanted to immediately have another, but all were solid. However, what I enjoyed even more was the friendliness of the bartender. We had planned to have a graduation party in a park nearby, but storms rolled in and there were eventually tornado watches so we asked them if we could move it to their taproom. They were more than accommodating and even bought the first round for the graduate (which happened to be me). Definitely made a great first impression on me.

If anyone is flying solo and wants a drinking buddy there, hit me up. I live 2 blocks away

Checked out Chain Reaction yesterday for the Creme Brulee imperial stout. It was a good imp stout and the 14.5% ABV was well hidden. But the burnt caramel flavor I was expecting wasn't there. Again a good beer, but the flavor didn't match the name. They do have that beer resting in Laws Whiskey and rum (unknown distillery) barrels right now. I'll still have to give those a try.
We also did some tasters: Belgian Rye Stout - a good rye stout, Belgian yeast was very subdued which is more than OK with us ; Orange Creme - not bad for a warm weather beer, we did get citrus notes, but not orange specifically ; Pink Peppercorn Saison - tasted about the same as most standard saisons we've had, the pink peppercorns gave it a spicy scent but it wasn't nearly as prominent in the taste ; There's Always Money In The Banana Stand - forgot the actual style of the beer, but it's a Belgian something or another. Considering the name we were expecting a bit more banana but it was fairly standard.
Overall everything was good, nothing that wowed. I will keep my eye out for those BA Creme Brulees though.

Grandma's House : Obviously lots of kitsch factor. No outdoor seating, but they did have one of the big store front windows open. It's just too bad the food truck was parked there too emitting fumes right at us. We had the Vondruke Oatmeal Stout, it was as generic version of the style as you can get, drinkable but nothing I'd go there for. I also tried a taster of the Grandma's Broken Spine - Belgian Dark Strong Aged in Laws Whiskey Barrels, I think Laws aged beers are becoming a favorite. Quite frankly I couldn't say if the beer was actually good, or if the Laws made it good. All I know is that Laws flavor is pretty great

Haven't been, but I've heard that the beers at Grandma's House are okay. It doesn't mean that it isn't the most ridiculous brewery theme in town...but I'd rather have a stupid theme and decent beers than the opposite.

Went back to Declaration yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Beers were clean and tasty. Not necessarily a home run hitter beer in the lineup, but their IPA (which is more old school and sweeter) was my fave of the bunch. I'd definitely recommend heading back if you were disappointed earlier.

Might be now...but it wasn't the first day. Funny enough, I didn't see it yesterday, though. They're probably waiting for it to finish I suppose!

Parking was fine, but still disorganized. There are weird 1/2 spots across the street and "create you own" spots all over the place but nothing really defined.

ya, parking is "different" and might be a pain when that area develops. Luckily the light rail is about 903 feet away

If you haven't visited Baere Brewing yet, this weekend would be a good time to do so. They just listed the beers they'll have on-tap for the weekend (also their anniversary), and it includes all the best beers I've had there. Barrel Aged beers Friday, and all sours for Saturday. I'm definitely going to head over there to taste everything.

I like Baere a lot too, and more now than when they opened.

I'm more impressed every time I go. They likely started slow because they got scammed out of brewing equipment and had to brew everything on a tiny system. Now it's like a well oiled machine.

Hit Berthoud Brewing in Berthoud yesterday. Solid. Will go back when I'm up that way.

It took me a while to get in there, but I made it last week and was impressed. The gin barrel Berliner was...not my personal favorite, but a well-made beer that really showcased the gin. The regular Berliner was also quite good. Other beers were above-average, pretzel mustard was spicy, and staff was friendly. Win-win-win.

Stopped by Deep Draft off of 17th and Franklin yesterday. They're doing soft openings on Sunday from 12-8ish until they get a little more steam under them, dial things in, get more beers on etc. Well worth stopping in if you're in the area. Friendly people, nice space, and the beer's still in the tweaking stages, but very drinkable.
