    "Lake House" is a new one (to me) from Capital. It's super-mellow and clean, but with a biscuit note -- not boring! :wink:
    At 4.6% it's a thirst-crusher in the heat, and at $9.99 a 12-pack it was a bargain.

    On to another. This time it's a Chaos Mountain Mad Hopper.

    Hard to get a solid bearing on this one at first as it's got a nice up front bitter but the nature of the bitter is somewhere between earthy, dank and olive -ish with some biscuit hanging around a little. But the texture is actually a really nice surprise as it's very, very silky. Nice head and super lacing as well. Yep, not bad.

    Recycled picture from the 1st week of May when this was a week old. Now almost 3 months later, it's still better than 95% of any fresh DIPA out there.

    Saw this on the shelf so I picked it up today.
    18th Street Brewery: Sex and Candy IPA out of Gary, IN, 7.5% abv.
    Very smooth and refreshing. Flavor profile is not complex but overall an easy drinking, day time brew.
