drinking one now and I gotta agree with you...more maple and less alcohol burn. Nothing like a great winter beer in the middle of summer

Well, now I'm inspired. A place near me has some left, 'bout time I clear those last few bottles out.

I highly recommend that you snag 'em. I'm now on the lookout for dusty old bottles of Aphasia

Oh, Aphasia. She's a beaut. I think I'd like a variety pack of Aphasia, Woodmaster, Evil Urges, and Bourbon Evil Urges. Call it the "I'm Grilling in the Snow" Variety Pack

Any chance anybody's seen any of this lingering around any shops in SE Michigan?

Yep, Wine Palace in Livonia had some, four or five bottles. I'd check the Beer Baron, too. They had a half dozen bottles a couple weeks ago.

Welcome. Come to think of it, give the Busch's at 5 and Newburgh a call, too. They seem to hang onto the limited releases for a while. Moher stout was there for a good long while.

Don't quote me but there's a store in hamtramck that may have most of the shorts releases still...Steve's maybe?

Great thought, but that would be 6 and Newburg, south east corner. They do break out a lot of singles and they hang around a while sometimes.

Just cracked my last bottle and was super impressed with this at a year old. I liked it fresh but the melding the flavors have done after a year in the bottle really knocks it out of the park. Can't wait for this one to be released again, either I'll get double next time or not even open a bottle for 10+ months.

P.S sorry for reviving the thread and this not being on a release calendar again yet.

Opened one a few weeks ago, sadly my opinion was the opposite. Wasn't doing it for me as much and I need to drink the rest of mine down stat.

Hmm, I'm sitting on two bottles and was thinking about cracking one open yesterday. I think you guys have inspired me to check them out.

Definitely agree with you on this one. From the six pack I originally purchased last year, I cellared 2 bottles to see where time took them. I opened up one of the bottles mid last month and thouroughly enjoyed it. If I'm patient enough, I'm going to save the other bottle for next winter to test it out further.
