    Just tried and reviewed a Not Your Father's Root Beer for the first time. Hardest time I've ever had scoring a beer, mainly because it didn't taste much like a beer. In all seriousness it's probably the best root beer I've had for a while, but I rarely drink sodas of any sort these days, so when compared to the flat A&W I had as part of a float on the 4th of July, it was of course going to come out ahead.

    Bottled 6/21/15 with an ABV of 10.8% and 110 IBUs.

    First time drinking and I'm a happy boy. Enough caramel malt to support big bitter hop flavors of wet pine forest and grapefruit zest. It's early, drink well.
