    I found one in Arkansas that measured up, the rest of them places made think about the warning about gas-station sushi. Having said that I've been to one decent (gas station sushi ) in Dell City, OK. My standards are high though, I got used to good/cheap sushi from living in Oahu for 5 years, loved the conveyor belt places there or hell just getting some Poke', a great dish to have with a beer or 3 for sure!

    1007 was my street address when I was growing up in the Santa Clara Valley. When I could ride my bike a few blocks from home and pick fruit from the orchards. When Facebook was just a garbage dump (literally).
    So...well, not "so" but coincidentally, I'm enjoying a cold, refreshing Hearts Delight from Santa Clara Valley Brewing Company.

    Yeah, I was already leaning that way too. Man, only one left in the recently acquired 4 pack. Well DIPA's were made for drinking and not cellaring anyway :grinning: So here is my recycled DirtWolf pic...

    I'm just happy the beer scene near me is now good enough that is a real problem now. Thank you Odell, Stone, Firestone Walker, Deschutes, Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, Six Point, Victory, Mothers, Schlaflys, Coop, Roughtail & Ozark! Plus anyone I've stupidly omitted. It wasn't even that way 2 years ago...:grimacing:

    The only thing that was better was on the rare occasion when we went fishing & hooked some tuna & the deck hands would do impromptu sashimi or I was l lucky enough to pry some opihi (a type of Limpet) off the rocks in tidal area & ate'em right in the ocean. The food was great over there, if you liked Asian food you were spoiled for choice, plus all the local melting pot stuff.
