Hell, if they improve the lines, the beer will just sell out quicker and then people will complain about that.

I've already started a thread to speculate about the changes and complain about them

I've got you all beat. You know what I like to complain about? People who complain about people complaining. I'm complaining about people who complain about people complaining. Not only am I complaining about people who complain. I'm also complaining....about myself! See? Beat that, fuggers!

Well, being as there has NEVER been a line that long, for as long as they've been open, including 4 other Atrial releases, that seems like a pretty fair assessment.

But hey, feel free to be critical just to do it. Free country and all that.

Glad AR is all gone so we can start complaining about something else at JK. Whiskey Barrel Rodeo on tap today. Damn.

2500 bottles is obviously a ridiculously small amount for such a famous and esteemed release from what is probably the only bona fide cult brewery in Texas right now. Since these limited special releases are such small batches why not keep them draught only?

That way they'll likely last a lot longer and give the real fans who make the trip the chance to try. The way it currently is the bottles end up going to mostly mules and even the draught sells out within about 24 hours.

That would be hilarious, the traders and panhandlers would be up in arms. JK could brew another batch of AR using their tears.

I do a lot of trading myself, but I too think it would be funny to see that. They'd probably save a little money on the cost of bottling and a little on labels too.

Not packaging your product doesn't make a lot of sense other than possibly helping out "real fans". I'm sure that's partly why Jester King had to fight to be able to sell everything on-site, even if some of it also hits distro.

Holy entitlement, from the guy who got 10 bottles this weekend.

I've mentioned this before and Jeff's response was that they like making labels and they prefer the character of their beer in bottles more.

Agreed. I typically enjoy JK more from bottles, plus, i don't always want to drink at a brewery/bar. I like being able to grab a JK fruit sour at home.

If the line is too long, don't stand in it. Obviously, 2500 people (more like 2200, probably) thought it was worth it.

Why do I keep getting sucked back into this wet diaper fest of a thread?

True...it is almost always better out of the bottle.
