Really nice flavored Dry Stout. Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, fudge, toast, dark bread, light smoke/char, and light-moderate herbal hops. Fair amount of herbal/roasty bitterness; with good balance between roasted barley and fudge flavors. Great bitter/sweet roasted character balance as well. Robustly flavorful, with moderate creaminess and roast malt chalkiness in the mouthfeel as expected. Moderate dryness; with only light lingering fudge flavors for a short period after the finish. Overall really delicious stuff. Tastes like a very traditional dry stout with a little added sweetness from the fudge flavors(pretty minimal); but still fits the dry stout style extremely well. I really like Arbor's regular dry stout as well(Faricy's), and this tastes a lot like it as expected.

Another delicious traditional Saison from Rockmill(session level). Aromas and flavors of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, straw, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good sized peppery yeast spicy finish with slight yeast tartness. Medium-high carbonation with a very smooth and crisp mouthfeel/finish; with a light-medium sized body for 5%. Slight noticeable stickiness in the mouthfeel as well. Minimal complaints. Just an very nice table-ish saison with good all around yeast complexity and balanced pale/wheat malt presence; not too dry or bland in any way.

Nice fruited rye pale ale. Good head retention and lacing. Session ABV of 4.3%. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; with moderate caramel/toasted bread/spicy rye malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate balancing pine/cirtus peel bitterness on the finish. Nice bright forward notes of grapefruit/citrus hops with a good malt backbone that doesn't overtake the citrus/piney flavors. Very smooth and fairly sticky mouthfeel from hops and citrus fruits; light creaminess. Overall nothing groundbreaking, just a really tasty pale ale. It has the normal profile I have seen in all of their IPAs so far, with the darker malt bill; but it's not a bad thing. Still plenty of bright citrusy flavors.

Perennial Regalia Belgian style ale with Brett.
I went to pick up my son from football practice & found him working with the Tightends & Linemen. I asked him what happened & said misheard which group to get in:grimacing: I told him if he really wanted to play running back he'd better let the coach know or he could look forward to a season full of blocking:astonished: As long as he has fun I don't care. Well maybe a little, he was a pretty good back a few years ago, but had some crappy coaches make the game not fun. I don't think that will be the case this year.

Solid but not my favorite - I'm not usually a fan of beers with the heavy caramel malt flavors but it does have some nice attributes (some tropical notes on the nose and at the front of the taste and it has a nice mouthfeel). This is batch 1 though and I've heard that batch 2 is drinking better with more of the hop flavor coming forward and not as much malt.

Did I make it???? Tonight's entire meal was made possible by my good friend Milana. A very large portion of ground beef lasagna with her fruit salad and another beer from her home country of Ukraine. Tonight it is Mitzne by Lvivske!!!

I tried this over the weekend and wasn't impressed. Not sure if it's the first or second batch but you'd think after all the self created hype, they'd have their shit together before they released their flagship beer at flagship prices. I'm sure they'll get it figured out but not sure how I feel about being the guinea pig for it.

you eat well my lucky friend. Every day you eat well!

This was gifted to me by a friend upon his return from a family vacation to Palm Springs, CA. La Quinta Brewing Co. Koffi Porter. Really delicious, with tons of fresh coffee character in both the aroma and flavor.
