Like @augiecarton has said, it is JUST BEER. For everyone getting upset that they cant find cans, prices too high, etc, i spent a lovely two hours driving to the brewery this Sunday, no traffic, beautiful day, picked up my allotment of cans and had a bite to eat near the brewery. It really isn't that difficult.

Good to know, thanks! The last couple times I was there and asked about boat someone behind the bar told me $12. It was busy so there must've just been confusion.

Slight detour -- will be driving through NJ on Sunday; anywhere good to pull off and pick up some Carton and/or Kane? Thanks!

Depends where you are driving, but Kane's brewery is right off the parkway and Carton is 15 minutes or so.

Joe Canals in Woodbridge is right off the Parkway and Turnpike and gets Carton Boat & 077XX cans (when available). They also do growler fills and currently have Carton Boat & 2 different Kane Beers on tap.

It might have been an accident. I bought some NC six packs at spirits unlimited in Manahawkin a few days ago and saw the same thing.

    Love Carton and their style.

Any Dune Fruit cans left at the brewery?

If you are in the area, Spirits in Middletown had growler fills of Dune earlier this week.

BOAT BEER FOR LIFE. @augiecarton I told my mother about the dune fruit and she loved the idea and the beer itself. growing up in long branch and highlands(family is from highlands and atlantic highlands) we always spent time picking beach plums on sandy hook. ever think that may be a good idea for the next sour? we always picked them end of august, beginning of sept.

Any other BA's planning on checking out all 9 single hop 077's for IPA day Thurs? Curious if growler fills of all will be available too.

From what I saw, growler fills are available. I would be there if I could(Mosiac 077xx!) but will be out of town. Luckily just met a cool BA who said he should be going and could get me a fill if possible. I am already salivating

I know at the odub event months ago they did growler fills. May have been limited to 32oz, not sure on that 100%

not single hop, third dry hopped. its standard dub all the way through the second dry hopping then we do a third dry hopping with a single varietal

its a philosophical thing, for us a berliner base is more fun with less sweet more flat fruit flavors, the kind of things that although pretty need some zing to show off, like mulberries and cactus paddles. the sweeter fruits are more obvious in the beer, berliner is too simple for that they get run over. if we were gonna play with sweeter fruit, cactus tuna or raspberries let's say i would either pick them under ripe and put them in a bereliner or use a a far more dominant base like an old barrel aged brett/pedio.lacto beer. let me know what you think of dalton's kriek if you try any.
