Poll: How much beer do you drink in a week?

Generally 1 a night, sometimes 2. But I'm a skinny guy so the alcohol hits me hard if I drink too much. Wish I could be "okay" with more, but it's probably not a great idea, BAC and health could (arguably) be impacted.

Most days I drink 3 or 4 beers after work then immediately go for a 3.5 mile run. Probably wouldn't work well for most people but it's perfect for me.

I drink 1-2 beers a day (7-14 in a week) but they vary between 12oz and 16oz. Usually 6-9% abv. Today I've already consumed roughly 30oz (had a sample). A bad day for me is 3 beers.

 

Let's put it this way, Bombers go down too easy for me. Friday is my "Max" day so a weekend calls for maximum beer drinking..oh and an occasional 40 ounce.

As a fellow Wisconsinite transplanted, I must admit that I have the same numbers with the weekend being 4-83

 

1 to 5 per week but that is not the whole story who many were 12 oz or 500 ML 750 ML. Honestly no more than 4 of any size on average.

 

Luckily for my liver, there's nothing drinkable at all available in rural Thailand except lighter fluid grade 80 percent rice alcohol and probably the same the with water and fizzy water added to make a not very good beer that is stored for months in hot warehouses. Undrinkable all of it. I have to travel an hour to get some OK wines from Australia. Going to Bangkok is now becoming another story with the Mikkeller Bar there and some other craft beer places. Its really a problem actually, because I get so beer starved after months of not having any and all this insane expensive stuff I have to buy, 3 Floyds beers, which I have herad isn't even available in the US where it is made, but Mikkeller is friends with 3 Floyds I think, so seems he gets to buy some kegs for his new Bangkok watering hole. Now we are also seeing a lot of top Euro craft beers in addition to some good American ones, Amger, To Ol, Nogne, Rogue, Prarie... you will go broke before becoming an alcoh tho, high taxation on imported beer.

Generally, it's about 1-2 per day, at least during my work week.

The weekends can vary wildly based on numerous factors: the phase of the moon, whether Mars is in the rising house, how much money I have...all relevant factors...

 

I voted 29+. Wow this thread makes me feel like a massive drunk... Apparently I drink more then 90% of you. I would say I drink a six pack or a couple bombers if I worked that day. If I don't work however that number can explode to 10-20 a day. And on Sundays during football season I'm sure I frequently hit 20+. What can I say I am a man that truly loves his beer.

I am pretty sure that the calories burned lifting the glass are more than what you consume when drinking beer. Especially if it is before noon.

That answers the explicit question, but we all know there's a lot more implied in this question...so here goes... Mountain bike and cycle regularly. Eat my veggies and fish. Do my pushups. Probably have fatty liver. Probably get a little stupid and annoying to those who are sober when I have more than three. Probably shouldn't drink as much. Probably think about cutting down from time to time. Probably really enjoy the fuck out of the flavor and the buzz and exploring different beers. So for now, fuck it.
