I was in the Halifax a while back, and enjoyed Garrison Imperial IPA & Propeller ESB.

BM herrorara and ask him where his homebrew is available.

Can't remember which growlers Liam brought over in the summer, but they were great. I think it was Great Lakes but I'm not sure. My cousins were all over them, as was I. Other Ontario breweries I have enjoyed in the past are these:

    Flying Monkey
    Black Oak Brewing
    Better Bitters Brewing
    Wellington Brewery
    Lakes of Muskoka

There is not much selection of out-of-provice beers in Ontario. Lots of nice stuff in Quebec and out west, but not much of that gets into Ontario unfortunately.

    Have a good time!

They were growlers from the Granite brewpub in Toronto. Unfortunately, it's a bit of drive from Windsor :slight_frown:

Not a problem, I can supply many more if you're back here this summer.

Les Trois Mousquetaires is unreal. I've never had a bad beer from them. Definitely try the Dopplebock.

Best in Canada or just Eastern Canada? I've had McAuslan and Unibroue beers and agree that they're very good but until I drink a heckuva lot more Canadian beers I'll refrain from stating that any are "Best in Canada". May I suggest just one from the West for your consideration:

Too bad it's not available in Ontario ... and very few places outside of Victoria.

I think the only good beer from the west that's currently distributed in Ontario is Tree Hop Head and Tree Double Hop Head... Both should be available in Windsor and well worth grabbing.

Although you're right that the west has some great brews; Howe Sound, Driftwood, Granville Island (seasonals), Cannery, OK Springs, Fernie, Wild Rose, Alley Kat... We're starved in Ontario. Maybe one day though! Here's to hoping!
