I just noticed that my local grocery store is now selling single bottles as well. I wonder if this will start becoming a trend. Maybe these are bottles that are past their expiration date. Not sure.

Like a larger grocery store?. Sometimes you can find some pretty good deals on singles, especially if the mix a six is a set price like $9.99 instead of individually priced bottles. I found a few pretty good hits at my local Meijer, but got burned at my local Kroger.

When you go into the store be sure to watch the shelves, often times the beers you end up seeing put into the singles sections have already sat on the shelves for a while. At least that's what I noticed with Kroger.

Whenever I walk into a store looking to try something new, I always head for the singles.

Low Risk (in case I don't like the beer) and high reward (if I do like the beer). If you find something you like you can always grab a Bomber or a sixer next time you go beer shopping.

Damn. Which store do you work at? If you're in Indy, I might be finding my way over there soon...
