I kind of figured that it wont show up very often. It'll be a treat when it comes around.

 

Has anyone tried Platform Hubris (Quadruple Ice IPA)? I've heard good stuff.. I thought Speed Merchant was really good, but haven't had anything else from them. What's the verdict on their other brews, overall? I know they haven't been around long..

 

Personally, haven't been a fan of anything of theirs. Speed Merchant was good but that's about it for me.

 

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to post earlier, but UA Daily Growler had a Rhinegeist event tonight, including Pappy BA Ink.

 

Hubris is the best beer I have had from Platform. It was downright awesome. I will agree now that I have been there a few times and tried a lot of their beer, most of it is good but doesn't reach that level of say JAFB, Fatheads and Brew Kettle. However Hubris is the standout, no doubt. It reminded me a lot of JuJu... Yum.

 

Didnt go to Platform, but I went to Fatheads and had some Tweaked Out Hippy Sippy that was fantastic.

Bodhi and creeper are the best I've had from Ohio there are very few iPas and dipas I'd drink a growler of but these two impressed me enough to

 

Anyone else notice a disturbing trend..."Other Half" being abbreviated "OH"? OH means Ohio, plain and simple - anyone looking for OH IPA's who doesn't mean Bodhi, HH, Rajah, Stunt, etc. is an idiot and I hope they choke on their mediocre Brooklyn swill

 

And damn, that's about all they brew according to their page on here...

Whole Hog Pumpkin ale (Stevens point) is here... I am surprised this fly's under the radar as much as it does... I'm not saying its 'Pumpking' However, at half the price ($8.99 per 4) its a danm fine alternative.

 

I was gifted a membership for my bday. Are they going to call us when they are ready? Any idea on what sours they are bottling?

I haven't tried anything from The Bottlehouse, but it looks like they'll be canning Erie Coast IPA's 4packs 16oz cans.

Little Fat Head's brewpub Heads Up....
Tweaked Out Hippy now on tap. When that keg runs out I believe they are tapping their 4 Roses BBA Hippy Sippy.
All their GABF beers are ready...Flippin' Delicious International Pale (Mandarina, Saphir, Galaxy hops), Alpenglow Weizenbock, Black Knight Schwarzbier & Pro-Am competition Swantuckey Saison are up.
Trickling on tap in the next couple days are some special-love batches of Head Hunter, Hop JuJu, Bone Head Red, Midnight Moonlight Black IPA, a variation of Sunshine Daydream with Galaxy in the dry hop, and an excellent batch of Battle Axe Baltic Porter.
No set dates, they are tapping them as space opens up. Growlers available. Get it while its fresh!
