Hahaha, were you in my garage last Wednesday? Someone said almost the same thing.

It was one of the first 10 or so that I had. I got the rice and the cucumber out of it. No avocado though. It was a good novelty, but I wouldn't drink it again.

Wednesday was nice so it was all hot brew. Today was hotter than hell so it was all cold brew.

Anyway, that's funny that Scott said the same thing about the experimental hop beer and that he wanted to erase it off the sign as he left so nobody else would experience how horrible it was.

I am cautiously optimistic about this, I've liked their beers in the past but they're pretty untested when it comes to barrel aged stuff. I'm hopping it will be better than Beach City's anniversary event and not as price gouge-y.

Raised Eyebrows release went well today. Strolled in around 1:30, grabbed my bottles and a glass. Tastes fantastic. Really bright fruit notes. Followed it up with a Hello, LA and Fun Juice. The Hello, LA was by far the best batch of it I've had, and the Fun Juice was really tasty...it'd be nice if they bottled it. The only that kind of disappointed me was Beer Spaceship. Otherwise a great day at HPB

Hello, LA really has gotten better and better each time. And you're right -- bottling it would be ideal. I'd buy a ton.

Yeah, I skipped Beer Spaceship because friends weren't too enthused about it.

    I had:

Fun Juice (a little bland compared to Raised Eyebrows)
Raised Eyebrows (YES, crisp, nice acidity, wish there was way more of it)
Coco Noche (really nice, finish was a little funky, might be the remnants of the coconut)
Nebraska (damn, that really hit the spot today)
All the Yeast (again, that really hit the spot)
Hello LA so fucking good, glad they had another keg on today
And some of the leftovers of the Hammered Satin with espresso

I was really happy to meet @mhksuccess and to see @3SH33TS, and I'm glad a couple of BAs had a chance to try the Hammered Satin with espresso on nitro. To clarify I pulled 25 shots of a Guatemala/washed Ethiopia/natural Ethiopia espresso blend last night, chilled it, and used 40 grams of espresso to 450 grams of Hammered Satin served with the Nitro Brew system. My espressos are lightly roasted and they end up pretty acidic and fairly sweet, so I dig how it adds some bright, sweet flavors to the imperial stout.

Thanks for the pour @the_trystero , the two melded together was excellent. (I was the Chinese guy around 12:15 with the long side swept bangs). Those nose alone was insane.

I actually really liked the beer spaceship. The nose was fantastic, the palate was crisp and clean and was very crushable at 4.6%.

Cool seeing @the_trystero again and thanks for that pour on nitro. Delicious stuff... regular Hammered Satin is a treat in its own right as well.

Anyone know the bottle limits? I'd imagine 6. But shit, at $12, that sucker is going to move.

Its 6. The thing will go like crazy at $12 last year I think it was $16.

Thanks @clayfu and @3SH33TS, I'll hopefully be doing something similar at Woodshop 10 LA (@cquiroga ), at least early on Sunday.

Such a great way of managing hype for the release. Let's go a step further and discuss when we're going to start camping out. How about midnight?

Fucking love Mocha Machine. Can't wait. I hope they have special variants on tap like they sometimes do

Just saw Valiant Alpha Overdrive hit Landmark Liquor in HB. Anybody have any insight on this one? Seems to have had pretty limited exposure previously judging by the lack of ratings.
