As many of you have probably noticed, I have a little bit of a Tiki/Hawaii hang up. I stems from a few trips to Hawaii when I was just a young impressionable lad in my early 20s. Ever since I bought my house, I have hosted a party at the end of August to celebrate an important day in our country's history. Hawaiian Statehood Day or Admission Day. For 20+ years, our guest of honor has been Mr Pineapple as seen below.


When I heard there was a beer called "Mr Pineapple" of course I had to have it for this years party. I reached to @dust_bunny since it is brewed in Arizona to see if he could hook me up with a 6 or two.
This arrived today, cleverly disguised with beer stickers all over it.

After wading through a perplexing assortment of packing materials, including raw pasta(?)

I found a little more than a 6 pack or two.


Thanks a bunch Dustin--this will be the hit of the party. Next Saturday is supposed to be another hot and sticky day, pineapple wheat sounds like a perfect choice.
