Minnesota released it early than they were suppose to. It was one store and then was a domino effect.

Yea so maybe Bell's has put in measures to prevent that from happening moving forward ie delaying the shipment of beer to certain markets until they are ready for them to release it?

Certainly don't know if this is factual just a theory.

It's possible, but it's also not the first beer that Premium has also released well after it seemed to be released to other markets. Founders Harvest and I think Laguintas Sucks (?) off the top of my head...

Yeah if it's the distro or Bell's this market is growing aggressively fast especially in Ohio and the average consumer is becoming more educated on beer. I think the market will answer to who ever the cause is in due time.

Competition is good for us. So this is a small problem for what's really going on. I'm not saying anyone here is complaining either haha.

And Premium is picking up Maine Beer Company. Not a good sign if consumers are looking for FRESH MBC IPAs.

I was excited to think I might finally be able to dry Dinner, then sighed when I realized it was being distributed by Premium.

    Dinner is brewery-only anyway.

Found the aforementioned Saber Tooth at my local GE in Columbus. That was a pleasant surprise

It's been two years since managing and buying but my experience through the years with Premium was always good with some really good reps. It doesn't make much sense. I'll have to watch some releases from the other breweries to see when they come through the channel.

Wow already saw Spooky Tooth on the shelves. Felt like this was legitimately a closer to fall beer. Not that I'm complaining

Cav beer seems to get new Stone brews on the shelves within days of being brewed. Just saying...

I was told they are currently brewing Juju there, so expect to see it often.

The answer I was given about the current batch of IBUsive is that it's basically the same as always, but with a more accurate description. They made a batch of Mosaic dominated IBUsive, but it was a one time deal. Take it fwiw, but it came from the second in command, brewing wise.

I've noticed (at NO location) that JuJu has been on tap on and off all year. Would be awesome if it was bottled on and off too. It seems like at least once or twice a month it's been showing up.

My rep said the plan is to release the 4-packs closer to Halloween and let the bombers sell through until then. Apparently the 4-packs will be somewhat allocated too.

That Four Roses Hippy Sippy is no joke. Up there with some of the best BA beers I've ever had.

I am 99% certain the Buffalo Trace variant they tapped a few months ago was the Tweaked Out Hippy Sippy, because there were loads of coffee in it compared to the Four Roses variant. Having said that, I might actually prefer this Four Roses one.
