Four Roses Hippy Sippy was ridiculously good. Our bartender left a little to be desired, though.

Cappy's got a good amount of Musk of the Minotaur today for any Cincy folks

Heck yeah. Not missing out on any Hoof Hearted after trying Eleven and Blabe in cans. Thank Cappy's for opening my eyes to them - hop game so strong.

If they were called "Tree House", these beers would be heavily sought after outside of Ohio.

I saw Pumking in 4-packs in Upstate NY this weekend. So yes, they're in 4-packs now. Not sure if/when they'll hit Ohio though.

My husband and I drove to the Musk release yesterday and were able to pick up some Blabe. The place was super cool and the staff was great!

We tried both the Musk and Blabe out for the first time when we got home, and we immediately agreed that it was every bit as good as Congress St. and Julius. Needless to say, I was super impressed, and am looking forward to more releases from Hoof Hearted.

If you are looking for Pumking 4 packs and you are SW Ohio. They had a ton at Party Source in Newport, KY.

Does Hoof Hearted not have a distributor? From what I can tell Cappy's picked it up themselves and brought it back to sell.

I cannot speak to Columbus but in Cincinnati I know they have personally made drops to Cappy's (south of Eleven and Roller Blabe) and Half Cut (South of Eleven) previously. The Musk was picked up wholesale by Cappy's and authorized for resale by HH.

could you guys cool it with the hoof hearted praise? i don't need anyone drinking up my supply! there are still some people here that won't even drink it because of their name. And I certainly don't need any of you trading this stuff around the country, it's hard enough to get now, if the whole country starts to want this stuff it's going to turn into a real shitstorm.
Let's just keep this between us. I know it's great, you know it's great. We're all happy.

Cool, I was curious why no one else was getting any. Unfortunately Cappy's is a bit out of the way for me but is hands down the best shop in Cincy.

I just bought some Oktoberfest as it is a style I enjoy and have heard great things about Great Lakes' version.

Just had my first bottle and it tastes infected, or just off. There is a cherry cough syrup/nail polish note that covers up everything else. I can "get to" to the caramel, but the nail polish really turned me off. I saw a few others had this issue. Is there a way to find batch information in order to let Great Lakes know? This cannot be the beer they meant to brew.

I mean, that's probably the same reaction that the homers from Tree House had to their beers. It'd be a good thing if we can still get it somewhat easily and trade it for walez, bro.

The spooky tooth is excellent this year by the way... I really like the dry finish on it, it's not overly sweet or anything that makes it hard to put down.

But I likely won't touch another until late Sept or October... Too early for me.

    F-yeah....Clear Sky Daybreak bottles!

A ton of info here: http://www.wolfsridgebrewing.com/inside-wrb/

Info about the next bottles being released -

Dire Wolf Bottle Release - 9/13

For our second bottle release we'll be selling two beers, including our first bottled beer that isn't a stout!

Dire Wolf Coco Joy - We infuse our award winning Imperial Stout with toasted coconut and cocoa nibs. The coconut plays well off of the creamy texture of the beer and the cocoa nibs add just enough perceived sweetness and chocolate aroma to turn this stout into a solid dessert beer. $10/bottle

Clear Sky Daybreak - Our American Cream Ale is brewed traditionally with corn to create a beer light in body but full of flavor and texture. Golden in color, the Daybreak version will confuse the senses with the bold aroma and flavor freshly brewed black coffee and vanilla bean. $7/bottle

Bottle limits and bottle counts will be officially stated on our Facebook event page as we get closer. Expect roughly 25 cases of Coco Joy and 50 of the Daybreak. We're releasing fewer beers this time around to hopefully get more bottles of each beer into the hands of the attendees than last time.

Damn! This is the second bottle release at Wolfs Ridge that I'll be out of town for. Sounds like they are doing an awesome job at running their releases, very organized sounding and lots of good and special draft selections.

Yesssssssssssss. I loved Clear Sky Daybreak and was hoping they would be doing a bottle release soon. I'm most certainly in.

I know it's been discussed previously, but what's a good time to get in line?
