that's what I though, but everything on beermenus is saying 10%. I was very excited for a moment there. At least you saved me a trip later, thanks.

I haven't noticed that many places in Northern OH utilizing Beer Menus or keeping them accurately updated. Would be nice to see that change.

I work at a store with NYFRB 5.9% currently on draft. When I went to update beermenus the first option that came up was the 10% version. I'm guessing people didn't notice they added the 10%.

Saw Founders ReDankulous hit South Dakota last week -- Ohio Distribution can't be that far off, right?

Got an email from Fat Heads a little while back that said Hop Fro is set to hit bottles in September. Anyone know more about when in September? Thanks!

Heard the same, wasn't overly blown away by Hop Fro but will still pick some up for sure. I wonder if they are working on any new sours. Haven't seen any in a few months.

I guess this could be a reply to any one of a handful of these posts.... but we were contacted by the magazine wanting samples of any double ipas we had available (specifically Bodhi) in this time range. Most everyone knows we don't bottle these beers yet, but lucky for these guys GABF bottle samples were due in Denver around the same time. So we just hand filled a few extra for Paste Magazine. I'd imagine that Fat Head's did the same with JuJu since they just made it at the brewpub this time, not the production brewery. Just something to consider with a lot of these beers. The magazine can use a stock photo very easily if one is available.

I'd also imagine that almost all of these beers came directly from each brewery, because seriously....u think these guys have a budget to spend money on beer for an article? If so, I wanna work for their boss! Most "articles" like this rely on free samples.

I will ask Matt next time I see him, which is infrequently these days. All I know is the last batch of Juju was bottled in late Feb, maybe early March. So one month is probably the best case scenario for Juju, and quite possibly most of the beer they had.

In any case, it is a legitimate question.

One of Fat Head's reps that is doing a tasting with us Sept. 24th said we will have some of the first bottles. So I'm assuming late September right now. Can't wait!

I was told the other day it is going in to bottles this week or next. Sometimes the info there is off though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Oh nice! If that's the case then it would be 2 weeks earlier than he was saying. I'm down with that!

Was the Hop Fro released weeks ago at the taphouse the same beer that is being bottled? I would think they would have bottled it when ready if they did a production sized tank?

But I was told they were not exactly happy with it and wanted to make adjustments, so perhaps the one tapped weeks ago was a pilot/test batch and they will adjust for the production one when bottled.

By all accounts, the first batch wasn't good. The current batch is getting bottled and is much better, if still nowhere near their best.

Is this the batch from late July? I didnt enjoy it, but if they've figured something out I may give it another go.
