No way in hell do they fill any growlers for the brunch event.

 

Wednesday night @ Bocktown Robinson. Rare Beer Night? I don't know whats there, except that Extra Special Critters 2015 with newly dubbed Merr Strain from Draai Laag is being tapped, aged in the wine barrels for a long while then dry hopped, very interesting. Also am pretty sure Dash said the Blue Canoe Habernero (stout?) and Four Brothers Smoked Porter for sure. Cheers!

I actually live in Enola, but follow this thread to see what's going on. It is actually very informative and lets me know things going on I should be aware of.

Very awkwardly worded pro-CBS. But there's no way they're doing growlers. They want to keep people there as long as possible

Fat Head's just bought a crowler machine for this event.

 

Might have to pull the trigger on a growler of 90 Min tonight. I'll be over that way and 90 min is always yummy. Gonna be a hazy morning tomorrow.

 

After feeling like a dummy for a day and wondering why it said September 15, it finally dawned on me that it was the year not the day. It is all sinking in now.

 

Also probably want more than ten people to have a chance to have some cbs.

 

I don't think they did flights for this in the past, and I really hope they still don't. They want to get beer into everyone's hands as fast as possible, and flights are a great way to make sure that doesn't happen.

No offense, but I'm glad you guys aren't running these events. Between growlers and flights, this would be a disaster. I'm getting flashbacks to the darklord day when I was like 26th in line, I and the 25 people in front of me went straight to the brewpub area where they were serving Vanilla BB DL on draft, I was first in line after the other 25 people got in, I ended up waiting like another hour, and by the time they let me in, surprise, no more Vanilla BB DL. Ended up drinking some BA Black Sun or something instead.

 

I'd proposed to my boss a while back that we implement a "Make Everybody Happy Hour", where for one hour a week everybody gets what they want, how they want it, at the price they want it. Still waiting for a reply on that one.

 

FH Pittsburgh doing flights is a new thing, so they wouldn't have had that option in previous years.

Agree that they probably aren't going to do flights this time around anyway, and agree big time that they shouldn't.

 

Everyone would bitch that the dude next to them got to choose the format first.
