For anybody who missed the barrel aged stuff Voodoo Homestead had on yesterday, there's still a little Taco Flavored Kisses and Old Jive Turkey left today.

They are caught up on the idea of making sure to tag everything possible. Makes it a barely readable mess.

I THINK they said this time it wouldn't be nearly as long... But, I could be wrong. @tommyguz seems to be close to Voodoo so maybe he knows more.

I was just in Meadville this AM for the first time ever.. For work though unfortunately and I was in and out of town before they opened.

Yeah, I was under the impression that Voodoo was having a 2nd 2015 bottle release later this Fall. Not sure why I am assuming this, but I thought I read some mention of that in the previous thread.

On the flip side, I heard from word of mouth that nothing is happening until early next year. So who the hell knows.

That would make sense, as the first news / pictures of the barreled beer for the next release were posted right after the release of Barrel Room 3. Of course, the beers could have been sitting there for a while so who knows.

The Erie Ale Trail (I think that's what it's called) brochure has the next release as October 31st (tentative).

@voodoobrewery - I know you don't like it when we try to shake you down for dates on this stuff ("it's ready when it's ready" I know)...but are you leaning more toward this year or next as of now?

That would crazy if they had it on Halloween. I haven't heard of Erie Ale Trail until now, but just checked out their website and didn't realize how many breweries are up that way.

I was up in Erie for a few weeks last month visiting family and the brochure was at Lavery and really looks like these guys are trying to really start something good for the area, can definitely make a fun day/weekend trip.

Yeah, that would definitely be a great idea for a small getaway weekend. That Bayside Sheraton Hotel they have up there is awesome too.

    BG News -
When will Mexican Coffee be back? Well, family, the answer to that question is September 16th.
For those of you that may be unfamiliar with Mexican Coffee, it's a 6.5% ABV oatmeal stout spiced with Mexican vanilla and cinnamon, and it's been the single most requested beer we've made to date. This year's version is sure to be even better than the last, and we've decided against debuting a second fall seasonal in order to double its production.
However, that's two weeks down the road. Until then, we've got a few more goodies to make the wait a little easier: the return of Certified Public Accountant (Wednesday 9/2), bottles of brettanomyces-conditioned Rutherford Saison (Wednesday 9/2), and the release of Citra Saison, the newest beer in our "_____ Saison" series (Thursday 9/3).

I guarantee the only thing that Voodoo will say is that the beer will be available when it is ready. And that's good, don't rush it.

If you look back at their Instagram, they were filling barrels like "OAT" and brewing GNVP and Black Magick around March...so I would think around March at the earliest. Although there definitely could've been stuff in barrels pre-Instagram, though I would guess that was the last barrel room release.

I really want a bottle of brett Rutherford, but there's no way I'm getting out to Braddock any time soon. If anyone goes out and gets an extra I'd be happy to buy it from you.

I live like 2 miles away. All I ever hear (when I am sitting at the bar and people ask someone) is that the release will be when the beer is ready.

    This.
Is this a brochure? I think I saw one somewhere, Will have to check it out. I always just pass it and never pick it up to read. I think I saw it at Lavery or Brewerie maybe
