The Port-a-John situation was bad there a few years ago. I remember feeling the same.

Yeah no worries. I heard Fuhrer wasn't going to bring in Rampant for the launch, but the Giant Eagle corporate guys wanted it so they did. So thank you Giant Eagle for the cheapest bomber to catch a buzz off this side of Hop Stoopid.

I'd pretty much always expect to find more exciting things at a bottle share than at a sanctioned beer tasting fest in my home market, mostly by virtue of the fact that bottle shares aren't confined by distribution footprints.

New beer alert - Chinook Commoner on draft at Roundabout.

(We still talk about new Pittsburgh beers here sometimes right?)

Or I could have just looked at their website to see that, yes, wet hopped. forget they give pretty good descriptions.

It's ok worth the price I think I paid 8$ for it. Whole foods has 12oz bottles for 4$ to give it a shot

Don't get your hopes too high. Change in bottle format.

    Are you so sure?

Got a chance to sample the Wigle Bourbon and Rye Whiskey last weekend. I enjoyed them. I can see where the price tag might be tough to swallow when there are nicer drinks at a cheaper price, but I think Wigle does a lot of cool stuff locally and the commitment to release a new product every month is a very cool one for a distillery. I'm looking foward to some of the future brewery collaborations, especially the Spoonwood one.

I definitely think it's cool to have them around. And their product should only get better.

    Pretty much sums it up.

Tree House really redeemed themselves with me last night after having Alter Ego.

Edit: I'm sure Tree House was very concerned about my opinion.

@tommyguz Have a friend going to Mercer today and Voodoo after. Any spots with a decent selection around Mercer to Meadeville? I don't get around too much when I am up that way.

Very different from the other 3 we had and much, much better. I haven't cracked my second cans of Julius, Haze, and Green yet but I think I'm going to have to this weekend to see what's what.

Anyone know if Draai Laag has any bottles for sale at the moment? I need some good extras.
