Believe they do. They're trying to clear out the end of their 22s to make way for the new format bottles.

And the new labels look great, the whole logo redesign, the new patio space. Things looking slick over there recently.

I'm always a little skeptical about going the bottle format change. I'm fine with them going to the 500s, presuming their prices accurately reflect the change. No one wants to pay more for glass.

I do like 500s for sours, though.

The Cru is great with a year of age on it as well.

Hey, if I have nothing to form my opinion off of other than 3 meh offerings, it is what it is. If they are markedly better the next time around, I'll chalk them up as bad cans and alter my ratings. Alter Ego still didn't have much of a nose though.

Good friend of mine, when he homebrews he is more about euro lagers and stouts. However I don't think that's what he's doing at the brewery. We haven't talked much about what his catalog will be once he opens. He is doing things the right way from the get go with a 15bbl JV Northwest System. He has a degree from Siebiel as well so he isn't just jumping into this as a homebrewer. He is going to crush it IMO especially when the system is dialed in.

    From Voodoo's facebook:

We've got a new beer on tap today and it's one we're pretty excited about. So excited, in fact, we took another beer off to put this one on.

Brewed in admiration of one of Curt's favorite beers with a nod to one of his favorite movies, Big Secret Pizza Party (7.9%) is a Golden Rye IPA brewed with Mosaic and Apollo with Rye from one of his favorite European Maltsters.

Delaware is celebrating the launch of Firestone Walker........we on the other hand, get New Belgium.

Maybe we can put trackers on the semi's that will be rolling through the state and, you know, make one disappear. :grinning:

    That would be too nice.

From the sounds of it, the distributors have such a racket. PSU_Mike was telling me about it last night. Anyone else have some insider knowledge as to why are distributors have such a bad rap?

I'd kill to see Parabola or Sucaba on shelves at the GE. Maybe some day.

I think that's a pretty cool idea. It would be better if you could try them side by side but I like the concept. I have high hopes for these guys based on what I've had and what I'm reading from them.

I hope he nails some different styles of lager. I have not been to Penn Brewing in a while, but it seems to me like Pittsburgh could use some good lagers.

(I hope the reports of Penn's demise have been greatly exaggerated)
