I am excited to see a non-ipa addtion to the BG lineup

BG Update:

The first of these beers is one from the days of yore: Nonstop Forever. This big guy's recipe has been completely revamped since our prior releases - a hefty, 9% ABV American barleywine that balances a full-bodied caramel sweetness with a good dose of resinous, citrusy hops.

Tomorrow, we bring you Clown Party, a new one-off IPA (6.4%) with Amarillo and Simcoe hops. It's bit more of a traditional American IPA than the low-bitterness juice-bombs that we normally make. Earthy and resinous, soft and smooth. Get it Thursday, which is just one of the handful of days that occur...

 

Two new beers on. at Brew Gentlemen this week. Clown Party is a new IPA and Nonstop Forever is revamped.

 

I bet it's Redankulous. Being shipped this week.

 

There is a good chance they will have bottles of it. It seems kinda lame to tell us "details tba" if it is just ReDankulous, since I am sure we will be able to find it all over town

 

Saw Redankulous already on shelves out in Philly.

 

Gonna duck in and get some waffles to go, wash them down with a growler of CBS. #winning

 

But you won't get to try everything they have available if you just get a growler! See if they have snifter-sized containers to go & get a flight for the road.

 

Does Fat Heads do flights of growlers? Better not be behind me in line, nerds.

 

Or alternatively, get a flight of all the different offerings and fill your growler with a DIY cuvee.

 

If this was the cask they had on at piper's a while back, I heard that sucked really bad as well.

 

I think that the brewer said it was different but that may have only been Rapture that it was tweaked. The Barleywine draft last year was good when it was fresh but the bottles had a strange bubble gum flavor.

I feel similarly, and would actually really like to try the FH stuff that's on (plus I've just had a really great time at this event in previous years). Buuuut I'm likely an even grumpier old man than you (and I work both Sat night and Sun morning), so I will not be attending. Very curious to hear what people think of the FH stuff though.

 

The barrel aged Battle Axe is awesome. They had it on draft the same weekend as the Voodoo Homestead opening. It was a busy day for me, and a very unbusy day the next morning.

 

i really doubt that they are gonna do growler fills of CBS, dude

do yall think they will do flights though?

 

I heard they will be letting people do keg stands.

 

i heard they are doing keg stand flights and are actually gonna have a randall filled with spicy parm wings for each beer.

 

I heard the growler/flight thing was played out about a week ago.
