And Brew Gentlemen and Voodoo if you have a car or are up for Uber-ing.

Anyone pre-gaming for the Big Pour yet? Where is the live tweeting? I'm out of town with morning beers and looking for entertainment. Hoping to get on the road early enough tomorrow, so waking up for the FH brunch isn't an impossibility.

I would suggest going to the Fathead's Breakfast on Sunday morning if you are still in town.

As for don't miss breweries at the Big Pour, imo...

Abjuration (still in development stages but I've been very impressed by them)
Draai Laag (solely do Belgians and Sours)
Helltown (they generally do really good hoppy beers)
    TRASH (homebrew club)
Voodoo (top shelf stouts and getting better with hops)
Troegs (you don't get them out that way and their one-offs are usually much, much better than their distributed beers)

Looking through the beer list, the biggest laugh is Great Lakes. They're bring two early summer seasonals (aka lettover kegs that are almost out of date), their boring ass year round IPA, and their Oktoberfest (which is actually p good).

The other place I'm excited to try is Apis Meadery. I've had like 10 of their meads and the Hopped Pineapple Mead was one of the best from last year. All the stuff their bringing sounds legit. But I guess this isn't MeadAdvocate

    Read that as MemeAdvocate.

Anyone have an idea what's Yards is bringing? Can only find info that they're bringing a new formulation of Cape of good hope

Went to Apis a few months ago and loved it. They had a bunch of cool stuff on tap. Sara and I sampled everything they had and the only stuff I didn't overly enjoy was the floral one. The dry hopped meads are great.

Too bad it is all the way out in Carnegie

Not traditionally an IPA drinker, but I wanna give them another try so I'm looking for suggestions from you all IPA drinking fools for something I can grab to tailgate with tomorrow.

Two I've had that I liked were Tired Hands MagoTago and DFH 90. Least favorite ones I've had are Two Hearted and Sucks. Definitely looking for citrus leaning, not floral.

    Any ideas?

Not sure if you'll be able make it all the way down there, and growlers aren't ideal for tailgates, but I would suggest trying Brew Gentlemen's CPA at some point before it's gone if you were looking for a nice citrusy IPA.

I do want to try it. Hoping for something I can pick up in bottles/cans though for tailgating purposes.

Haven't been out there myself yet, and not that it'd be any closer for you, but Hitchhiker carries them either frequently or consistently (one tap only tho), and the stuff I've had there by them is pretty tasty.

Honestly we originally headed out there because we enjoyed what they had on tap at Brew Gentlemen. Now every so often one of us will grab a mead at BG when we need something different.

Also noticeably missing is Bullfrog. They've been there in years past and have had bottles of sours.

Apis is solid, but my go-to for local mead is always Laurel Highlands' Bochet. That stuff is ridiculously good.

@troygreer - you any closer to opening a brewery around here? Just curious...
