I have a confession to make. I'm the one. Yes, I'm the one that caused @Dave_Treat's hospital stay. And all so he could help me out with a couple BIF beers that were on my targets wish lists. He threw caution into the wind, and against doctors orders, shipped one last box before checking into the ER... That box was mine, and it landed today. What started as a simple swap of Trillium for a future box TBD back during the 12DoS, ended up being a massive porch bomb that will be avenged.

Lickinghole Creek - Vanilla Virginia Black Bear. New brewery tick, and a beer that's right in my wheelhouse.
Lickinghole Creek - Enlightened Despot. Ditto.
Hardywood - BB Cru. I've had the BB Sidamo, so looking forward to trying this one.
Blue Mountain - Dark Hollow. I see where this is going... Another new tick.

On to more big bottles...

Voodoo - Love Child. Belgian with fruit... And another brewery tick.
Sunken City - Nachthexen. Ok, at this point it might be easier to say if I HAVE had anything from one of these breweries.
Foothills - Sexual Chocolate. I've had BA version and loved it. WANT.
Modern Times - Mega Black House. Had this out in Cali earlier this summer and loved it.

Finally on to the small guys...

Du Claw - Sweet Baby Jesus. PB Porter? Yum!
DC Brau - Solar Abyss. 10% single hopped Mosaic IPA. Fine, I'll drink you.
Pipeworks - NvsU. Had in the bottle as one of my first trades here and can't wait to drink again!
Pipeworks - Blood of the Unicorn. New tick, really looking forward to it.

Dave, you went above and beyond here - thank you so much for the generosity! Now get discharged so I can return fire!

Ok, that was only 1 box. Box #2 was a surprise from southern Cali... Apparently I won @wheelzntoys Vegas LIF and he decided to blast my porch with these west coast gems:

FW - Parabola. PERMA-WANT, and one that I'll be opening very soon since I've got 2 other 2015's cellared and can afford to drink this bad boy ASAP.
Modern Times - Black House w/ Coconut & Cacao Nibs. Didn't know this existed, but should have been a Want.
Modern Tines - Fruitlands. Might have to share this with the gf... Her eyes lit up when I unwrapped this one.
Kern River - Just Outstanding IPA. Brewery tick, and what sounds like a great juicy IPA.
Council - Pineapple Beatitude. See Fruitlands, above. Another tick.
Modern Times - Blazing World. Another new tick.

Neshaminy - Shape of Hops to Come. Got a couple of these from @Syracuse12 - glad to have another!

Unpictured, I was able to swing a quick IP trade for some more NE hops tonight... These will find their way into BIF/LIF boxes, I promise you. Overall, a pretty damn good beer day. Thanks to everyone who contributed!

I think @valrxman needs to apologize to all of the Florida BA's. I'm not sure there is any beer left down there after this.

 

Depends on the way you go. I'm not far from dulles air port, so if you came down 15 i wouldn't be far out of the way, but I'd expect you to go through Baltimore. Still in hospital though, so might not matter anyway. You might be closer to some of them MD locals. ...

 

Couple of things. ..First you deserved it. Have been sending lots of beer and trillium is awesome. Just pay back my freind.

Like that packing? First time I tried that. 16 beers in a 12 shipper I think.

Glad you liked the beers and mostly new ticks. Was fun putting together. The despot was the first I've been to, and last one I have to send out. My round 7 target will NOT be getting one!

That solar comes courtesy of Devin who did a pick up for me (I ever say this group is great). If you have had OTWOA, same recipe but uses mosaic hops instead. Great little beer.
