The chili pepper Pilsner is great too! So was the wet hopped Commoner III!

Awesome. I'll be sure to pass on those as well.

How were the beers from Reclamation Brewing at the Big Pour? They should be open fairly soon.

No idea what Smoketoberfest is but if you brought it up it's gotta have something to do with Roundabout so no. Thanks for the offer though.

Whats with the roundabout hate? They're the only consistent Brewer we have in this city. Out of the 50 of so beers of theirs I've had, only a few have been below average.

    Shuggy hates most everything.

That being said, I've not really been impressed with Roundabout either. Full disclosure though, I've not been there for a long time so I probably need to give them another try soon.

It's not hate but saying anything they have ever brewed is great is a gross over-exaggeration.

Everything there definitely isn't great but they do a good job of representing most styles of beer. I really like that there is usually a new beer or two every week. I live close by and I don't think I could ask for more from a small neighborhood brewery.

Tried 4 Brothers in New Brighton today. Had their King Ludwig's imperial IPA. It was darker than Yuengling and less hop. What a joke of an IPA. Hope they do better than this.

Fatheads brunch today was legit. Pulled up front on east Carson with my pick up truck and they were really nice about just running lines of all the specialty beers out to my truck bed. Took a while to fill it up but not a bad deal. Then drove home but it sucked cause the rain made it overflow onto the street as I drove.

Thank Christ the Fatheads brunch is over. Hopefully the unfunny will only last a few more days.

Tried that as well. Easily one of the worst beers in the craft realm I've ever had. The coffee stout was okay, way too thin and watery however.

Late on the bandwagon, but I had quadfather today. Interesting. Not my favorite. Still have a coconut breakfast of champions to try though. Hopefully I enjoy that more. Definitely interested in trying King Ludwig though.

Like I said, I was surprised by the Dancing Gnome stuff. I hate their name and their dumb schtick (calling your beer elixir and proclaiming you refuse be labelled and a canvas for the brilliant color of hops)...but the beer was actually pretty good.

The Nollie was an IPA with Nelson, Amarillo and something else. And the Creases in the Corners of Your Eyes was a smoked coffee stout akin to Cellarmaker Coffee and Cigarettes, which according to their Instagram was a big inspiration.
